I had to give up caffeine for medical reasons. I definitely sleep better and no longer suffer the afternoon crash. I've heard that caffeine tends to increase tension in a golf swing too.

I have not tried it, but what concerns me about Gio whatever his last name is is that he uses the oldest advertising trick in the book when trying to sell you this product. If you'll notice, after he describes the "key" ingredients he refers to studies from Harvard, Yale, etc. that show that the "key" ingredients are "effective" in bringing about the results that he talks about in his infomercial. NOTICE that he is very careful NOT to say that this product of this combination of  ingredients in this product will bring about ANY of the results that the individual ingredients will bring.  This is the oldest trick in the book for trying to market supplements of this kind. While it is true that some or maybe all of the INDIVIDUAL ingredients may bring about some of the results Gio talks about, usually the quantity of ingredients in any supplement is so low that you cannot get the results that are being described in the infomercial.  I'm not saying that this it the case here, having done a lot of research and being scammed a number of times by claims of other products, I began to do a lot of research on products such as these and found them to be bogus. The fact that I have a medical background as well as an advertising background assisted me in my efforts. You might want to be very cautious before investing a lot of money on this product. I also agree with boogielicious that contacting Revolution Golf. I have contacted them about a couple of jakeleg products and as long as the money is rolling in they don't care. Just be careful out there.

I am a 5 index and play in a lot of tournaments. When I don't take golf fuel my scores go up. I gain focus that lasts a full round.

Yes,

it is good stuff. It helped me a lot.

Love these guys... one post each just to hype a product and we're supposed to believe that they have no ulterior motive?  Right!

I understand how you can have that point of view. I have tried many products that do nothing for me. Golf fuel works. I just received a new order. My last order lasted a year. I did not take it every round or every tournament. I won't be forgetting to take it anymore. I take 2 an hour before my tee time then I take one at the turn. I shot a 70 last Monday. I won my club tournament for the third time. I won three times last year.

Blue socks are equally effective in improvig your scores.

In the race of life, always back self-interest. At least you know it's trying.

True, but yellow is even better. And don't forget to rub raw spinach into your forearms an hour before tee-time.

The more I practise, the luckier I hope to get.

   I wish I had known that when I used to play in the Club Championship. A bottle of something 2 hours before the round and I would have won. Too bad the Ryder Cup team didn't have a couple of cases of it today.

I understand how you can have that point of view.

Or… you could post elsewhere on the site and join a great community, with the byproduct of convincing people that you're not just here to promote Golf Fuel Brain Vitamin.

I'm new to the site and have not ever posted before. But when I see a topic I think I can provide some in-sight I thought to do so. My attempt to help others. I do not want to get caught up with a bunch of negatives, How can anybody have a opinion without testing the product? Either you have tried it or you have not. Please give feed back if you have, if you have not stay silent. It's not that difficult of a concept. Hey Erik; Where else should I post? I am not a golf pro just a guy who responded to a question about a product that I have tried. Have you tried golf fuel or just blowing hot air?

This has nothing to do with blowing hot air. I'm not sure why you'd even say that. I'm telling you how it looks when someone new joins and posts ONLY to promote something. Reality and appearances can and often are quite different; this is how it looks .

You play golf, do you not? If you do, then there are a BUNCH of other threads in which you could/should post.

Are you the self appointed thread police? Do you think the world wants your opinion? Are you that bored? How about going to another thread for a while and let the adults communicate. You are the very reason that sights like this are a waste of my time. Enjoy.

Adios.

    • Thanks for the feedback. @StuM, we are a "club without real estate" so no facilities or pro. We have a membership of around 185 players and we only play together as a group at our tournaments, which are held at public access courses. A group of us setup the tournaments, collect the money and dole out the prizes.
    • In general, granting free relief anywhere on the course isn't recommended.  Similarly, when marking GUR, the VSGA and MAPGA generally don't mark areas that are well away from the intended playing lines, no matter how poor the conditions.  If you hit it far enough offline, you don't necessarily deserve free relief.  And you don't have to damage clubs, take unplayable relief, take the stroke, and drop the ball in a better spot.
    • If it's not broken don't fix it. If you want to add grooves to it just because of looks that's your choice of course. Grooves are cut into putter faces to reduce skid, the roll faced putter is designed to do the same thing. I'm no expert but it seems counter productive to add grooves to the roll face. Maybe you can have it sand-blasted or something to clean up the face. Take a look at Tigers putter, its beat to hell but he still uses it.
    • I get trying to limit relief to the fairway, but how many roots do you typically find in the fairway? Our local rule allows for relief from roots & rocks anywhere on the course (that is in play). My home course has quite a few 100 year old oaks that separate the fairways. Lift and move the ball no closer to the hole. None of us want to damage clubs.
    • Hello, I've been playing a Teardrop td17 F.C. putter for many years and love it. It still putts and feels as good or  better than any of the new putters I've tried and it's in excellent condition except the face has dings in it ever since I bought it used that kind of bother me. I was just wondering if it's possible to have some really shallow horizontal grooves milled into the face on a "roll face" putter. I think I would rather spend some money on it instead of trying to get used to a new putter.  Thanks
