well oneover automotive group is a "car club" Hate thinking of it that way. And I started out with a wrx as my first race car so in 2004 when i started racing and etc i used oneoverwrx as a user name and it has just stuck. Search my user name on youtube all spelled out and you can see my wrx(yellow one) and a clips of various civics i have built. I was considering changing it for this forum as it is really the only non car forum i am on but i said hell with it.

Good thread!

Although many of you might think my username is a homage to the great Sam Snead, Slammin' Sam was actually my nickname in high school. Considering the state of my game as of late it probably should be Suckin' Sam.

My last name is Gaul, and my buddies would always call me Gaulie, and one day one of them just called me Gaulywood, so it stuck.

Valerie: it's my name.

I wasn't feeling particularly original when I signed up for the forums (and I'm always happy to find that my name hasn't been claimed yet.)

A teammate called me Pup in high school, and it has been with me ever since. I have good friends that have no idea what my real name is.

Couple of my friends and I created a isukgolf association a couple of years ago, for those of us that suk ... So I use the name because ... I suk at golf :-) The concept is meant to poke fun at ourselves and embrace we do suk at golf, but have fun on the course! And as the logo indicates we have nailed a few houses over the years.

I created mine because I was new to the game and the site plus I wasn't sure how long I'd be around.  In hindsight I should have picked a better name, but even after 4 years I feel like I'm still learning more than I know, so maybe it still applies.

A combination of Hall, my surname, and Ryu. Ryu meaning school in Japanese. I created the username years ago when I was heavily into martial arts. I use the same username everywhere on the interweb!:-)

    • Day 430 - 2025-12-04 Slow motion backswings (with chippy shots) with AlmostGolf balls.
    • Day 24 (4 Dec 25) - Spent about an hour working with the new 55° wedge in the backyard.  Kept all shots to under 20yds.  Big focus - not decelerating thru downswing and keeping speed up with abbreviated backswing.  Nothing like hitting a low flighted chip with plenty of check spin and then purpose to float a pitch of similar distance.
    • Day 114 12-4 Put some work in on backswing, moving the hips correctly, then feeling over to lead side. Didn't hit any balls was just focused on keeping flowy and moving better. I'll probably do another session tonight and add in some foam balls.
    • Didn't say anything about your understanding in my post.  Well, if you are not insisting on alignment with logic of the WHS, then no.  Try me/us. What do you want from us then?? You are not making sense. You come here and post in an open forum, question a system that is constructed with logic, without using any of your own and then give us a small window of your personal experience to support your narrative which at first sight does not makes sense.  I mean, if you are a point of swearing then I would suggest you cut your losses and humor a more gullible audience elsewhere. Good heavens.
