So, yesterday I had my driver and 3 wood re gripped with the Winn Dri-Tac oversized grips. I had the GolfPride multi compound standard size on them before, what a difference. These grips are Soft, and they almost mold to my hands . Also my hands sweat a bunch, these grips stayed dry, and my hands didn't slip at all. I think I'm gonna have all my clubs regripped with the Winn Dri-Tac grips.

Any of you guys use these grips, and if so, how do you like them, or not like them..?

I had them put on all of my clubs last year and I think they feel amazing your hand. I had to replace the one on my driver, but that was after a lot of use. I will be using these grip for a while and I'm very happy with them.

I think Winn grips feel really nice but they wear out very fast!

I've had them on a set of clubs and I will never use them again. They wear out ridiculously fast. PURE grips ftw.

I agree EJ but how much in the scheme of things is re-gripping your clubs? I play $29 for a dozen balls(which don't last me very long), $40-$60 a round, plus another $20-$40 for libations on the course.

I have a few friends with these grips and they are noticeably different than all grips I've ever had.  Very soft and "cushy".  I could actually see myself being able to play without a glove if I had these grips.

On the other hand, I have Pures on my clubs and looooove them.  A close second are my GP Niions, which will go back on my clubs whenever the Pures wear out (if they ever do) ... or when I'm feeling goofy because the Niions are bright orange. :)

So some of you guys are saying they wear out fast, could someone give me an idea just how fast they do wear out..?

Its hard to say but my driver lasted about a year with quite a bit of use. All of my other clubs are still pretty good my gap wedge is the most worn but, I always warm up with it and use it a lot to chip

Well, it's not the kind of thing you notice until you feel a new grip again. For me, I noticed wear within a month. I think it's because the Winns have so much other non-rubber ingredients that they are prone to wear out.

Unless you play constantly they last way more than a month. Even a little wore they are stickier than most rubber grips and still feel soft.

I was using Winn-Lites and they were showing considerable wear by the end of my season which was around 40 rounds. I also practice a fair bit. My main practice and drill iron is my 6 iron and it's pretty shot, especially where my trail thumb rests. They do feel great with no glove though.

Are they the same compound as the Dri-Tac's..?

I use them on everything but my driver and my putter. Nice soft feel, and I have much better grip pressure now.

A clubsmith I know suggested squeezing the Winn Dri-Tacs right at address, and then relaxing, as a substitute for the forward press.

I'm going to go on record saying that PURE grips are the exception.

I agree.

I also hate Winn grips. But I guess they're good if you like replacing them every month. :)

What do you recommend Erik. I know you have probably used many more grips than most of us and hit more balls than most of us also. Id like to hear what you think is the best combination of durability and feel.
