Wait, you're a Jets fan AND a Rags fan? I can't talk to you anymore

LOL. Jets, Nets, Mets, Rangers. But I disowned the Nets already... and my Rangers fan card is about as suspect as they come, as is my Mets fan card.

It's basically just the Jets for me. And Team USA soccer.

I'll also throw in Liverpool and Team Greece too.

Jets, Nets, Mets, Rangers.

You know what? We can talk again. I just feel bad for you :-P

Ya, exactly. Born under the wrong star, I guess.

You should've seen what happened to Liverpool this year. Classic blunder for me as a fan at the end.

Entertaining game here though. I forgot how fun hockey was for me to watch when the Rangers are good.

I think you're a generation behind with those teams.

Can't comment on Liverpool, as I don't follow soccer.

Hockey is great! Less so when the Rags are good, but still great lol

@billchao Not to get too off-topic, but you're Giants-Devils-Yankees I assume?

Really am enjoying this game right now, not just cause the Rangers are in it. Surprised.

Yes, not in that order.

I should be a Devils fan, but it didn't work out that way.

Not too late to convert...bonus points if you jump off the current bandwagon ;-)

Can't bring myself to do it. Been to too many Ranger games. That said, half my friends are NYR and the other half are NJD. But at the same time, the NJD friends wouldn't even care since they know what a fake hockey fan I really am :-D

But really, this is an entertaining game. I'm definitely going to watch the whole series.

Justin Williams is quite the golfer. He is the current club champion at my club in Philly. He joined when he played for the Flyers and always kept up his membership all these years.

LA might win this series in 4 games. In my opinion, the top 5 teams in the NHL this year were all in the Western Conference. LA, Chicago, San Jose, St. Louis, and Anaheim. The East is terrible.

The stats don't bear that out.

And an OT win gives you confidence that a team will sweep??

    • Once, on a course in Middleton, Massachusetts that I used to love but has since closed down,  I hit the wrong half of a huge, UK style double green.  Then I made the hundred foot putt.  Tough to  forget that one.
    • No. But if I can still play next year, I'll almost certainly be even worse. That's the reality of not being young.🙁
    • I use GPS;  it may not be as accurate, but neither am I.
    • Back in my Army days a "gooch" was a particular part of the anatomy. Example, say Okeechobee is the b-hole of Florida, then Belle Glade would be the gooch. Seems he wears his name well.
    • I can't say that I remember a lot of individual putts, but I do have one specific memory.  The first time I played the Old Course, I had hit a pretty good drive on the 6th hole.  I had about 60 yards left, and due to the swale in front of the green, there was no chance of flying a wedge on or near the green and having it stop on the green.  My caddie recommended either a running 7-iron chip or a putt, and I took the putter and a pretty hard swing.  The ball rolled over humps and through hollows, disappeared into the swale in front of the green, and re-appeared heading right at the hole.  I ended up maybe 12 feet away.  The caddie turned and held out his hand to shake mine, and said "Now THAT was a golf shot!"
