Reminder! This is a Friday-Monday event.

Henrik Stenson is the defending champ and Rory won it the year prior.

• WHEN/WHERE: Friday-Monday, TPC Boston in Norton, Mass.

• AT STAKE: $1,440,000 first prize in $8 million total purse

• SHORT SHOTS: Of the 100 players who qualified for the field, four will not play: Justin Rose, Paul Casey, Jason Dufner and Graeme McDowell – the latter taking paternity leave. … Phil Mickelson will play alongside Justin Hicks and Ryo Ishikawa late Friday and early Saturday.  Last week's winner, Mahan, has just one top-10 finish in 12 Deutsche Bank starts.

damitall - I went to look at the leaderboard and quickly realized it was Fri-Mon week on the PGA tour.

Oh well more time to work today, I guess.

Who does Rory's caddy look like? I can't put my finger on it...some cartoon character or something.

I think he looks a bit like Foghorn Leghorn.

Yeah, he's OK at golf...

Right? He couldn't even get those iron shots in the hole, and what was up with that long putt? I mean he's a professional golfer and he can't even get his approach closer than 40 feet? I'm going to watch someone else with more star power ;-)

I have 21 "favorites on the PGA Tour" app playing this week. Only one cracked the top twenty-five: Seung Yul Oh No. Considering there is only 100 players in the field, there was a 21% chance of one of my "favorites" winning. SYON, Kevin Spacey, and Geogilvy were the only ones to crack par. It was a tough friday..LOL.

      Day 200 3-4 Wider back swing, arms up a bit higher, and added in some flow work to start getting a since of a full swing. Still focusing on arching wrist through downswing.

      It's going to be very difficult for the 2026 Masters to match the 2025 edition for storyline. I honestly don't know that anyone else in the field could match the story of Rory finally winning after so many years and the blow ups over the years, not to mention the career slam being completed. No one this year that I can think of is remotely close to that kind of story.
