There’s really no comparison between the two events. I watched this one right from the start, got bored in less than an hour (and I was really interested in seeing the course, too). The other event I wasn’t able to watch until there was about an hour left and I was glued to my screen the entire time.
I think part of it is they tried to broadcast this event like a regular tour event with the announcers and everything, and the other event had Charles Barkley basically being one of the bro’s joining in the banter between the players.
Steep shoulder turn
Work on “flow”
Hit ball well
I put ball farther forward to help me move forward on it. Video with more normal ball placement doesn’t show ball.
Goal 1. Steep shoulder turn
Not quite steep enough going back. From frame to frame, my shoulders steepen just a tad. This slightly steepens the shaft.
Goal 2 Flow
Happy with getting into trail hip.
Doing ok. Will continue to try to move forward earlier.
Im starting to control the ball better on the course. Draw is calming down. Misses are hanging more to the right, which is better (for me) I think. Big hooks are scary, they go OB.
Also, driver is going really far for me.
Will continue to work on steeper shoulder turn. For next time: The idea or feel is to have steep shoulders to P2, then rise the arms as I fall toward target.
I'm in the camp of having hard time getting tee times. I don't have a problem on the weekend, as I play in a large group and we always get tee times, but weekday tee times are almost impossible to get. We do tee times 10 days in advance, but I don't have the luxury right now to know my schedule that far out with the Covid stuff going on. In fact, I just resigned from the club due to the tee time issue and will look to join somewhere else that hopefully has the tee times figured out.
