Tied my best round ever...even with an 8 (!!!) on the last hole (we teed off on 10).

This was hands-down my best round ever with the driver (per Game Golf, I lost one stroke to a scratch golfer off the tee).  I hit 7/12 fairways, with a "typical distance" of 250 yards.

Pretty rough day, looking forward to playing this course and golf in general a lot more though.  Getting a membership here for the rest of this year and next at this course.

Venango Valley.

Shot 70, but par is 71. 9 is a 485-yard par five, 18 is 520 or something, and I hit PW and 7I into them. I hit 4I and striped it into 10, which is a 440-yard par four. 🙂

It was windy.

0 GIRs, 0 Pars, 9 penalty strokes/unplayables.  Hooked the ball like I was getting paid to do it.  Typical driver distance, 205, 273 long, 54 short (:-$).

      First going to spain for a long weekend in March probably going to play La Quinta, Los Arqueros and Fina Cortesin, and first week in May will compete in the Crawsnest Tassie at Carnoustie golf links, that will be a full week of golf golf golf and more golf.       Day 47: simulator day! Played St. Andrew’s and shot a +1. Not bad, especially with having to putt at this simulator set up. Had about 5 minutes at the end to work on some feels as well.

      I think you're saying it's preposterous to think that the areas on this club are anything like what's shown here: 30mm toward the toe or heel loses only 5% distance? Highly, highly doubtful. So a guy who hits the ball there and normally hits the ball about 250… will hit it instead about 238. By missing the sweet spot by about 1.2 inches? Highly, highly doubtful. Heck, the high heel barely gets into the red, and orange is only "up to" 10%! @M2R, I've never heard of "Ask Golf Nut" but I'm dubious of his claims in the video and really, really dubious of what's on his site: "Why AskGolfNut Is the Most Trusted Data-Driven Golf Resource". Hmmmmmm.
