Cleveland does have more depth than Golden State, and they can go big or small. I think Cleveland has more versatility in their lineup and ability to score. Lets not forget they have Lebron who has been to the finals and won before. That is a big deal. Especially with Irving back. He's a player that can be that type of player to take over a game like a Curry or a Lebron. Just that extra dynamic player makes me think Cavs win this series 4-2.

And all the other quarters?

On an unrelated note, there are now 10 NBA players to make the NBA Finals in 5 straight years: 8 Celtics from the 60s (all HOFers), LeBron James, and ... James Jones.

Game result...Houston won.

Demarre Carroll held Lebron James to 2pts in the first quarter of game one of this series.

One quarter.

Hmmm ... something different in both cases I'm guessing.

But that (those) one quarters.  mm, mm, mmm.

Game result...Cavs won.

Cleveland does have more depth than Golden State,

Gonna agree to disagree there.

If the series goes more than 5 games, I'll be watching from St. Lucia. Getting married on the 13th, and will be leaving on the 15th for the Honeymoon. Here's to hoping the Cavs give me a baller wedding gift. :D

Ok, we'll talk about the series. Cavs won. Convincingly...in a sweep. :-P:beer:

Ha! Actually chuckled out loud at that one. And don't count out zombie Houston just yet. (I hope it's GS, we matchup better) Could see the finals going 7 games...coin flip as to who wins. If Irving is healthy, Cavs. If not, probably GS.

Oh no. The Cavs would easily beat the Rockets, I feel. The dubs will give you guys a series.

I don't see us easily beating anyone in the Finals. It can't ever be easy for us to win a championship lol

Playoff record for most turnovers by a player.

As much as I like watching basketball I'm glad GSW finished off the Rockets tonight.

I'm still going with Cav's in 6.

Lebron has been here before. Actually winning a title is a huge advantage in terms of experience. I think as the series goes deeper Lebron can channel all those past experiences to push his team in the right direction. Not sure how GS will respond if they get down in a series or can't push Cleveland around. Does anyone with leadership on that team would know what to do in those situations, not entirely sure.

I'm just not confident at all. Hawks? I knew they'd be a pushover. But hell, as far as experience, you could say GS had no business beating Houston either, as a bunch of those guys have a ton of playoff experience.

The bottom line is Steph and Klay are borderline unguardable. The only thing that makes me feel better is that I don't think they're big enough to hang with the combo of Moz/TT/Bron. I think we're going to murder them on the boards.

I agree, 2nd chance points will be big, and I think can give Cleveland a serious edge.

I just think the Lebron factor will be big in this series.

GSW in 6 is my prediction.

I don't see how the Cavs have a serious edge in 2nd chance points. I think the battle of the bigs is pretty even but maybe Tristan Thompson will step up even more.

GSW had the best defense in the NBA this year and Kerr is a great coach so it should be fun to see what they do defensively.

Its been fun to see guys like Barnes and Thompson set up and become key parts their team's success.

Harden was awful. 12 turnovers...bouncing the ball off his feet....crazy.

Draymond Green on LeBron James is going to be entertaining!

I know...woof.

Two things will determine this series.

1. LeBron's jumper

2. Kyrie's health.

If Kyrie is close to 100%, and LeBron finds his jumper again, the Cavs take it in 6. However, if LeBron keeps chucking bricks, and Kyrie is still this hobbled, Warriors in 6.

    • Probably since the golfer has to swing the club back and up. The hands have to move back and up. You can feel them go back and up just by turning the shoulders and bending the right arm, because it brings your hands towards your right shoulder.  The difference is if you maintain width or not. Less width means a shorter feeling swing path so the more you need to lift the arms. Being as someone who gets the right arm bend at 110+ degrees, it's 100% a timing issue. I am use to like a 1.5+ second backswing. It probably should be like 1 second at most. Half a second or more will feel like an eternity. I have had swings where I keep my right arm straighter and I am still trying to time the downswing based on the old tempo.  Ideally, for me, it is probably going to be a much quicker and shorter (in duration) backswing, while keeping the right elbow straighter. Which also means more hinging to get swing length without over swinging.

    • I'm currently recuperating from surgery, so no golf, but have been thinking about this quite a bit. This and the don't overbend the right arm thing. It's hard for me to even pose the position, so I'm not 100% sure, but I feel like it's impossible to have the right humerus along the shirt seam and not overbend your right arm, unless your hands are down near your hips. If the left arm is up at or above the shoulder plane and your right arm is bent less than 90 degrees, then your right humerus has to raise or your hands will get pulled apart. Your left hand can't reach your right hand unless either the right upper arm is up or the right arm is overbent. Is that right? If it is, then focusing on not overbending the right arm would force you to raise the humerus. And actually thinking further on it, if you do overbend your right arm, then you're basically forcing your upper arm down or forcing your left arm to bend. Since (for me at least) bending the left arm too much is not something I think I need to worry about, it means that the bend in the trail arm is really the driving force behind what happens to the right humerus.
    • I managed to knock off a 3, a 13, and a 15 a couple of weeks ago. The 3 was a 185 yard par 3 with a 6 iron to 12 feet. 13 was a 350 yard par 4, which was a 2 iron and a 9 iron to about a foot. 15 was a 560 yard par 5 with a driver in a bunker, 4 iron into the semi, gap wedge to 8 feet and a putt.
