Harrington, 43, will now have about 49 days off to savor his 29th professional win. So what will he do with his time off? Go to Disney? Binge watch "Game of Thrones"?

Nope. Harrington said in a TV interview after his win that his off-season goal is to make 100,000 practice swings, or about 2,000 a day.

wow 2000 per day.

About 1.5 months prior to (potential) my golf club opening I begin a regiment of 100 golf swings,2x a day. Roughly enough swings for 4 rounds. I don't hit a golf ball mind you. But swinging an iron like an on course golf shot takes time. I might also add it can become boring.   2000 swings per day..10 times as much as I do....wow

some of my best rounds are often at the begining of the year, including an albatross last year from 210 out.
