I think so. I've spent all season with hot players on my bench. I've also learned that swapping them in is the kiss of death.

Yup. If you notice, GoGolfing rarely swaps a player off the bench. Mainly only if someone gets cut or it looks like another player has a good look to win.

Well, down to 2 Speith starts left....my gut tells me not to take him this week at the Open....will I have the stones to leave him off my roster altogether? I have 24 hours to decide....would love to see him win for the chance at the Grand Slam though....PGA will be nuts if he goes in there with 3 in a row!

I figure he had 7 tourneys left: Open, WGC Bridgestone, PGA and 4 Fed Ex Cup playoff events.....definitely need to ponder.

Yahoo's Roster Deadlines just don't handle weather delays very well.  The Roster Deadlines remain the same, even if the round is delayed due to weather.  This causes problems when you have a guy on the cut line with a couple holes left to play in round two.  You end up having to guess whether the guy will make the cut in order to make any roster adjustments before the weekend since the Roster Deadline isn't pushed out along with the weather delay. Oh well.

I'm ready for next season too. I really wish I could have had other segments turn out as well as the summer segment did. I hit a couple rough patches along the way.

Looks like the TST Fantasy League golf pool championship stays in Canada for another season boys! I believe that is a 3-peat!

Looking forward to 2016. As Volkey pointed out last month, many of us kick 'the experts' asses season after season! Well done!

I joined the PGA Tour web-site (and it has a app as well for IPhone).....if I'm not mistaken you can create your own league as well....a bit different then the format we had on Yahoo....you pick 4 starters and 2 reserves that's it...but still seems nice

Yahoo is dropping Golf/Fantasy.

Any thoughts for another site for 2016 ???

If there are none to host a league similar to the setup Yahoo had, I could setup a spreadsheet on Google Docs to use.

Other than that, looking forward to Fantasy Golf in 2016

Probably better off making up your own. We use to do it that way is a most simple way. Everyone picked "X" amount of players. At the end of the weekly tournament the player with the lowest score under par based on their picks won. We also broke the year down into 4 seasons with one major in each season.

      For someone with a very consistent swing speed and ball strike, upgrades may improve performance. For everyday golfers, probably not. I'm a rather odd player. I usually get best performance from basic pro or tour heads, but with lighter stock shaft from the model's standard driver set up. (Yes, current EXS is an exception.) When I get a full driver fitting, I usually try a couple of modest upgrade  (not super magic) shafts. Most of the time upgrade gives a couple of extra yards, or 10 yards less. Remember this about stock shafts: They are matched to a particular driver model to fit the type of player likely to adopt that model. Also, most OEMs offer a variety of stock shafts in their drivers. Test for which one works best. And, the final decider...

      Uh, seeing you're having trouble with hit-and-miss performance from inherited clubs... Get Fitted! IF the 910H pair don't work, swap them out. Also, only two degrees separation in loft is not much. You might consider a 4W (much more reliable than a 3W) plus hybrid. This would give more distance separation than two Hs. For hybrid, get one you can hit... Maybe a more benevolent 4H. Quite often I try to brand match my bridge clubs (FWs and Hs), and my irons and wedges... but not always. Whatever works!
