It's the video age no? Or the visual age. It makes sense to me. YouTube probably has almost every swing out there, but quality, angles and recency differs. Wouldn't this make players more accessible to the public?

Kill slow play. Allow walking. Reduce ineffective golf instruction. Use environmentally friendly course maintenance.

Why?

The PGA Tour is run by the players (or on their behalf, really). What would they get out of this?

Yes, it would be nice for instructors, but again: what do the players get out of it? What does the PGA Tour get out of it? Besides a scheduling headache, of course.

Plus, their version of "down the line" might not match the particular instructor, so now they're shooting six down the line videos. And with how many clubs?

PITA. Little upside.
