nice swing for sure...........i just cant believe how short that backswing appears. cant be much more than 9 o clock. definitely proves the 'shorter backswing better' theory!

Second round nearly over. Leaders at -9, some at -8 and -7, then many at -6, -5.  SGarcia, defender, at -6. No AM made the cut. Nor did DLipsky, but PUihlein in at -2 and will play the weekend.

He ended his 2nd round with 3 straight birdies though!!!

End of round 3 finds 4 players, from 4 different countries, at -13.  No one at -12, and 3 at -11.  Poor SGarcia shot 77 so is a long way back.

Am watching this tourney live and a delayed showing of Humana tourney and must admit the commentators on USA TV seem incredibly juvenile, compared to those on European TV.  I mean the USA golf-talk guys can't seem to shut up so must talk continually and about the silliest things relating to the private lives of the golfers.  Maybe it's the short attention span of USA viewers or competition with the, IMO, stooopid 'smartphones' and social media BS.

Winner is BGrace of South Africa at -19. Drove the green to 5 feet for eagle on 16th hole to seal the deal.  Korean chap, BHAn, at -15 with 3 others and SGracia, gets in at -4 over 4 days.

On par 3 17th hole, big sign for HIO offering US$155,000 gift voucher. What a nice prize.  Oops, can only spend voucher at Qatar Duty Free shops..  Guess that's a lot of tobacco and booze.  Well, i could see my basement loaded with bottles of nice claret, maybe Ch. Petrus and other Bordeaux beauties.
