Looks impressive,all they need now is a Raleigh Chopper style one with a Racoon tail aerial on the back

On a serious note if you want an ebike of this sepc here in the UK you can expect to part with a lot more pennies


Most of them (though the batteries are bigger, they're a little lighter, etc.) here in the U.S. are $1800+. That's why this guy has $3.4M in pledges so far. :P

Funny thing is these electric bikes are nothing new. There is a craze over here for recumbent (laid back style) bikes as well as the electric "city" bikes. This is back in the mid '80's Sir Clive Sinclair had the best of both with his C5

@david_wedzik and I got three of the five we ordered. They're just shipping the black/yellow ones right now. The blue ones our wives wanted will come soon, I think. I may assemble one in a few minutes…

How did these work out? Do you have an update as to how you like them and how much use you get from them?

I love them.

They're doing another campaign now with an aluminum frame. It's on KickStarter. I'd recommend it to a lot of people.
