Drip. Phil's going to be four back in a moment. Justin has a better angle on 13; Jordan has a better lie.

Last time I checked Tiger weighed in at 185# and Rory at 160#. So if Rose is 6'3" and 180#, what are you trying to say?

By observation on the TV he does not look as built up as Rory and Tiger, just because you weigh the same and have the same height does not mean you have the same strength at all! Im 6'4 205 does that mean I can play like them...

Then Spieth is gonna birdie and it will be back to five.

Have they mentioned how easy the back nine is scoring today?  It's down to under 35 average for the nine (just above 36 other days).

Spieth has a real shot at going lower on this stretch of 13-16.... current numbers are now for the "easy stretch":

Hole Average Eagles Birdies Pars Bogeys Doubles+
13 4.4615 8 22 15 5 2
14 3.7755 1 12 33 3 0
15 4.2766 4 28 13 2 0
16 2.8444 0 11 30 4 0

Look at 15!  4.2 today average. (Usually 4.6ish)

Jordan is holding his own out there, really impressive play so far this week. Not that I'm surprised, but he's really showing some fantastic golf in one of the most prestigous tournaments in golf.

I guess the only thing left is to see if he reaches 20 under.

    • Day 65: Played 18. Decent round with the exception of two doubles.
    • Went back to feeling the hands slowing down and stopping at A3. Feel a significant pause at A3. Hands down towards the ground. I get the mental image of Morikawa with how he pauses at the top of the swing, but then really rips at it.  For me, I have to  grip the club about 5° open. Or at least what looks like. With the driver, it’s another story. A bit of a regression here. Lots of John Daly– esque over swing. Lots of  shallowing with the body. If I try to send the club behind me with the hands going down to the ground. I have a bad habit of timing that with an over swing. So, I had to go back to feeling a significant positive again to control the back swing length. Then I went back to try to bring the back of the right hand down to my right hip. It feels stupidly, awkward. Like no flow to the swing. But from A6 through impact  feels more effortless. Now I’m hitting some decent push cuts this way. In the swing feels like it has no speed. But, it’s probably better overall. something I noticed that is way different from my irons to my driver is that with my irons I can keep my eyes looking at the ball much better through the downswing. With the driver, I find it pretty much impossible to do. Will post some videos later.
    • The text, in case Elon ever kills Twitter (more than he already has): Quick 18-hole game you can play on a launch monitor: Write 90, 95, 100, 105… 175 on 18 balls. Put them in a bag, pick one out, try to carry the ball the listed distance. Scoring: - ≤ 1 yd, Eagle - 1.1 - 3 yds, Birdie - 3.1 - 6 yds, Par - 6.1 - 9 yds, Bogey - > 9 yards, Double Of course, you don't have to do it with 18 balls; you can use slips of paper, etc. You could also set a start and end point and randomly generate 18 numbers, and play to those yardages. But… let's see some scores? Let's see what people get. The nice thing is… you only need a Mevo level device.
    • He's entertaining. I still don't "like" him, and he has said a lot of stupid shit over the years, recently about the LIV stuff and the OWGR, etc. TikTok is infinitely more evil than Bryson.
    • I have a full day of house hotel (not true, I went to Golf Evolution before 7am and just got home: four hours of work and 40 minutes of practice) and I'm primed to watch the U.S. Open.
