Looks like she's wearing a GoPro over her cap. Dunno if that has anything to do with what's in her back pocket, I thought the GoPro is just a one piece device.

While I can outline all the good things I think are going on here, great transition, pre and post impact moves, unfortunately, not so good at implementing them. :-(

Yup.  I am always looking for the things I'm working on.  So the two things I notice and envy here are just how "straight up" her club goes from A2 to A4, and the subtle flattening of the shaft at the transition.  Me likey.

Also, the straight right leg and the right knee NOT kicking out towards the ball.)  Oh, how much fun this game will be when I figure these things out.

(Cuz, you know, it's so "horrible" now. ;))

The bold is what I am working on.  I have been chasing that for a year.  I worked on it today.  Instead of palmar flexion from A4 to A5, I had the feel of pressing the shaft down with the pad of my left index finger.  I didn't get to film it, but will next week.  It looked in the mirror like it flattens the shaft and wrist at the same time.  it is a very subtle feeling.

Of course you have to keep everything else right too, weight shift, right elbow position, etc.

Here's what I admire. PA #1. BAM!

No early extension here (camera's moving a tad, but still enough):

Yup, GoPro is one piece device.  I don't know what's on her back pocket.  She doesn't need that ... :-)

Yardage booklet/scorecard.

Looks very uncomfortable.

In the race of life, always back self-interest. At least you know it's trying.

The red is what I think is my biggest hurdle in this same quest.  I like your index finger feeling though .. I'll try that thought out today.

Also have to remember to slow it all down.  I go through the motions and drills slowly but I tend to swing all out when a ball gets placed down there. :8)

Yeah, my thought as well.  These girls are smaller, and wear clothes with smaller pockets than the men, but they use the same size yardage books.  I've seen it on the LPGA Tour several times where the book is goofily half sticking out of the pocket.

Me too!  I've always had this problem.  I'm getting better at it though.

Tiger needs to watch her head position.

He has won 14 majors and 79 total tournaments with his head position. Rory's head drops too.

I would not mind one micro minuscule bit to have that head dropping "problem".

Looks to me weight forward, rotation, motorcycle rev - left wrist is pretty much flat in right pane, cupping of right wrist and maybe external right shoulder rotation doing the trick here?

Based on the lawn mowing pattern, looks like camera is pretty much down the hands, so camera angle is ok.

Shaft is pointing well outside the ball at P6, so needs to steepen from there. That's another "problem" I'd like to have.

Update : I just noticed something. Her right wrist cups way more than her left wrist flattens. How does that happen? Or am I seeing it wrong?

Yeah I heard that he's won a time or two. So why does he work on his head position of he's satisfied with it?

Who said anything about him being satisfied?

Since you pointed it out, I notice it as well.  Maybe it's just a deceiving angle though, and that the right wrist is actually cupped more than it appears in the left picture.

I looked again. Maybe it's the right elbow dropping/going towards ball?

To quote Johnny Miller, "Yowza". It hurts looking at this. Massive right side bend and extension of back? Ouch.

I've always admired the female golf swing. It looks painful when you see PGA guys like Geoff Ogilvy or Camilo Villegas bending like stretch armstrong. But women have so much more natural flexibility, so it looks beautiful to me. (interpret that last sentence however you want)

Hit a ball with a stick...how hard can it be?
