Ball moved accidentally when player is getting stung by bee?

I also believe that the fair resolution of the sweat bee sting situation would be to replace the ball and not penalize the player under Rule 1-4 since bees are considered a dangerous situation under the rules.

That's not how it works.

Bees - as in a hive or something - are a dangerous situation. A single sweat bee is not.

The player is penalized and must replace the ball. Same if he gets punched.

At the tournament I played last Tuesday, my ball landed about a foot to the side of an underground bee hive. That was a little freaky.

If someone punches me while I'm in the act of putting there's going to be a lot more to worry about than 1 stroke - like a 911 call.

The 1-4 argument is specious. Equity (not someone's idea of 'fairness') applies only in situations not covered by the Rules. Almost all the examples brought up in this thread ARE covered by Rule 18.
