Soon enough we will have cold to complain about. I would take the heat for another 2 months if we could.

Come on Scott, just a month ago you were complaining about living in an igloo. There's just no pleasing you, is there? ;-)

It was more than a month ago Bill when my front yard looked like this!

Combine that with 100% humidity, then I'd agree with you.

C'mon @vangator , this is the only time of the year when we "snowbirds" can gloat about how nice the weather is. I walked 18 yesterday and almost worked up a sweat.

I think I hate you. :-D I really enjoy my vacations back home in Western NY during the summers. Didn't go this year, but I'll make up for it next year.

Lol. In a couple of months, you'll have all the nice golfing weather you can stand while I'm busy posting in the Winter Depression Thread (the payback from you will be hell I'm sure).

"Ten more years until retirement" is what the wife and I keep reminding ourselves. Then it's the Carolina's, Georgia, Northern Florida...? Anywhere that doesn't have 6 months of winter.

Here in Buzzards Bay we picked up seven feet of snow in 10 days. I swore I would not complain about heat or humidity this summer, you don't have to shovel either.

I also learned that you really don't want to hear your home town mentioned on the Weather Channel, its rarely good News.

North Florida still gets pretty cold in the winter (teens), but you still don't need a shovel. I moved from Jamestown New York (south of Buffalo) after high school to the Univ of Florida (Gainesville). I didn't realize it still got cold in the winter. Some mornings had a thin layer of ice on the puddles. I thought it was beach weather all year round. :-D Still beats the hell out of that shoveling. PS. I'll make sure to give you weather updates in January.... :-)

It's currently 11:38 pm here, and 93 degrees.  Down from a high of 104 today, which is one of the cooler days we've had recently. :-) We should start getting consistently into the mid-90s somewhere around mid to late October, lol!

Just finished 18 holes, 98° and not even a breeze.  Score was sad because game went north the last 6 holes trying to find some place cool.  Best thing was a root beer float at Sonic on the way home, then a long cool shower.  Still working on rehydrating.

I played yesterday and today at 6:40am. Finished the round each day before 9am. It was beautiful in the morning, but got really hot by mid afternoon.
