Odd thing was, it was clearing my cookies and cache (for a different reason) that started the aberrant behavior. It took me clearing it three more times, but after the third time it worked. Very odd.

That might be a bug, but I don't know if they're going to address it. That view basically strips formatting and some tags out and just shows text. Though it probably doesn't show QUOTED text, so if they could add spoiler tags to the output, that would work.

On second thought, though, the Spoiler tag is not one that is included by default with IPS 4. I added it to the editor. So I can't really even file a bug on it, probably. Maybe I will, but they could legitimately respond that it's not their feature so tough.

I turned off caching for that block. It should fix that issue.

I often use the "My Activity Streams/Content I Follow" view of posts, but lately it often results in "waiting for sandtrap.com..." in the status bar for an extremely long time. I've waited it out a couple times, but usually I just go back to All Activity. When I try later, it might work. Maybe 1/4? Has been happening several days at least. I don't recall it being so inconsistent before.

It appears to be a slow query to run. Not much I can do about that on my end. If I remember I'll look later to see if it's a known bug or issue.

The default mode for that thread is to show all content items, comments, etc. too, so you might want to make a custom stream that shows content items only (the top-level stuff, like "the topic" instead of "every comment in that topic."

Then share the URL with them. That helps troubleshoot. You can share the URLs to any of the activity streams. They won't see YOUR stream, but they'll see a stream configured with the same settings.

Sort of. It fixed it for my desktop computer, but it did not fix it for my phone (I cleared the cache on both devices). I'm not sure what's up with that.

      One Swing With Many Clubs, or One Club With Many Swings?

      If I can take a full swing, I'll use the stock club for that yardage.  I can't really get creative.  Just don't have that ability.  In the past, I used a sand wedge for all my shots around the green, opening or closing the face and moving the ball back or forward in my stance to get the flight I wanted.  I am trying now to use different clubs around the green.  I'm less likely to flub it but I struggle with distance control.  More practice required.
