Around these parts, Texas Star and Grapevine can put up a fight with any muni you can think of IMO.

Texas Star is awesome.  Played it two years ago, really nice course.

Around there parts in WI, Washington County is pretty nice.  It is ranked pretty high usually among the top muni courses in the nation.  It has become a once a year course for me usually.

Sleepy Hollow in Cleveland is the nicest I've played...but Ohio, Florida, and Virginia are the only states I've golfed in, so take it with a grain of salt.

EDIT: Just saw it's ranked the #1 muni course in the state, and the 23rd muni course in the nation. Interesting.

The Internet Adjustment Formula:
IAD = ( [ADD] * .96 + [EPS] * [1/.12] ) / (1.15)
 
IAD = Internet Adjusted Distance (in yards)
ADD = Actual Driver Distance (in yards)
EPS = E-Penis Size (in inches)
