I do personally really like the diamana blue shafts, that would be my recommendation there.

Do you know the differences between the shafts or are they basically the same thing kind of like Duracell and Energizer batteries are pretty much the same thing?

I got fitted for a shaft a couple of months back.  The specs that we talked about were:

Flex:  Stiff

Weight:  55-60

Torque:  Around 4.0

Low/Mid Launch

I was looking for quality brands.  With shafts, do you get what you pay for?  There are a lot of expensive shafts.  Being a teacher, I have to stay within a budget.  I can't afford a $250-$350 shaft.

Thanks for all the feedback.

What driver head do you have and loft?

Yeah, so yesterday I hit a Callaway XR with a Fujikura 565 Evolution Speeder in A-flex for shits and giggles. I'd been slicing the hell out of everything in sight. My current driver and every R-flex driver in the place. I was clocking 73 mph on the launch monitor. That's why I went to the 13.5 degree A-flex. First thing about the XR it's too long so I choked up. Next thing I noticed was I was hitting draws and my SS was up at 88 mph with corresponding distance. I could feel exactly where the club head was. This got me wondering if my R-flex irons being +1" and higher SW are actually more flexy than R-flex. I can feel where the club heads are with them.

This got me wondering about swapping to an A-flex in my BB. So I looked up that Speeder shaft.... $249. Brand new XR driver = $349. Value of my BB driver = $100. Really?

That's an awesome discovery and has me wanting to try the same thing.  That increase in SS, amazing.

They have the XR's at Callaway preowned site.  Are you looking at the women's or the men's driver?  Just looked at the site, they have both but with different shafts and the women's only with ladies flex.  They do have a 13.5 with light flex in men's.
