I've played with two pros, but not a touring pro. Had a lot of fun. Very loose, casual and relaxed round. 4' gimme putts, "winter rules", basically they were playing a fun round.

Poulter is still considered a pro? I keed, I joke... I think you should be casual and not star struck, typical golf etiquette is in order and just have fun.

Nice! I've never played with a tour pro. I'd love to see how good they really are up close. I imagine he'll give you some stick considering where Arsenal are in the table compared to Man U (assuming you're a Man U fan based on user name).

Which course are you playing?

Played with a couple pros, but they were mini tour players. Watching them golf on courses I am able to play is kind of boring. Fairway/green then par or birdie. It gets monotonous. Kidding. :-D Their best asset is being able to recover from bad situations really well which rarely happens.

To be perfectly honest, they're not that much different than watching scratch/plus players. They hit longer, though.

@David in FL got to play a round with GMAC, and that looked like serious fun.

Best of luck in your charity round!

Very cool, if it's anything like my experience, you're in for a day that you'll never forget!  Be sure to tell us all about it and yeah, take lots of pics!

I've played with a handful of pro's, but never a known touring pro.  Have fun, relax, and enjoy the experience.   I'm sure they will do everything in their power to make sure you enjoy the experience.

With that said, I always thought Poulter came off like an absolute PRIK!!  LOL........ I remember once at Phoenix when he flipped-off the fans on the 16th hole.  I mean c'mon dude.....everybody gets boo'd on that hole!!   Get over yourself already!!

I have played with a pro, and whilst the sex trade is legal in parts of the U.S. it's still illegal over here. My advice is to stay at home, or go and have a game of golf :-D

In my bag (Motocaddy Light)

Taylormade Burner driver, Taylormade 4 wood, 3 x Ping Karsten Hybrids, 6-SW Ping Karsten irons with reg flex graphite shafts. Odyssey putter, 20 Bridgestone e6 balls, 2 water balls for the 5th hole, loads of tees, 2 golf gloves, a couple of hand warmers, cleaning towel, 5 ball markers, 2 pitch mark repairers, some aspirin, 3 hats, set of waterproofs, an umbrella, a pair of gaiters, 2 pairs of glasses. Christ, it's amazing I can pick the bloody thing up !!
