One of the old school guys, but haven't been on for a few years and miss the camaraderie. Started back playing again last year but just getting back to the forum and wanted to say hello to all the old, and new, trappers.

Howdy, I'm also in Texas, and new to the game.  What part are you in?

Welcome to golf, it will take over the rest of your life so I hope you've seriously thought this through. ;) I split time between Dallas and NE Texas. You?

Just mapped it. Can't say I've ever traveled to your neck of the woods. Been hunting nearby in Graham a few times. Any good courses around you?

It can. Lol. Planning trips/vacation around golf, sneaking off to go to the range, thinking about your wrist hinge and pivot while your wife/gf is talking about her lousy day at the office, etc.

    • Day 9, May 13.  After work, I went to my practice room for a dozen balls (two sessions of a half dozen each).  I may do more later, but I wanted to make sure I posted here too.  Same priority as yesterday, with the arms lifting.
    • Day 263 6-13 Setup alignment stick station for hands off body drill. Worked on wrist arch as well. Working on not hitting the stick 😀
    • Day 64 (13 May 26) - last practice of golf team for the school golf team….got to hit a few balls while working with the kids.
    • Hi @RetiredOldMan!  I am glad to see you are still playing and having good scores.  I hope that when I am 79, I am not only able to play, but still able to produce as good scores as you have been doing.   I look forward to hearing more of your success and your opinion of the senior flex shafts.
    • Hello Golfing Buddies, It has been awhile since I posted but I am the Retired Old Man that asked for advice because I suffered two "T.I.A.'s about switching from playing right handed to playing left handed.  I purchased a Callaway Edge Left handed golf clubs. I changed the grips to oversize grips.  Well, two weeks ago and still at 79 years old, I shot a 44 and 47 on a small course in my hometown.  I am currently changing my shafts from regular flex to Senior flex.  So, you can see' it can be done! So, you other old timers; get with the program! Blessings to all of you. Retired Old Man (Terry Warner)
