With intentions to post a funny comment here, I googled "golf towel pants" hoping to find a picture of pants made from a golf towel, etc.. As usual, the Internet (and the golf industry) did not disappoint. A product along those lines already exists and it sounds like a game changer per the marketing video - maybe even capable of cleaning the "suck" off of a set of Pings (reference to an adjacent thread)...

I'm with you. I wipe my club off after every shot with a regular towel, I don't get wet, and my clubs are clean. I swear some people have more dollars than sense! Especially when pros wipe their clubs on their pants cuffs just before hitting the shot!

That is a remarkably dramatic video for such a goofy product.  If you want a towel dangling off your pants, just get a towel with a gromet and carabiner and hook it to a belt loop.

I have three golf towels: one was from a charity tournament, one was a birthday gift, and one I bought from a course I like.

I use these microfiber ones, light, cheap, and do the job.  In the rain I hang one from the bag and a dry one from inside the umbrella on my push cart.
