Oh no, so sorry to hear. My back has been giving me problems all week, today is best it's felt in a while. Hope your better soon.

I can play 7200 yards, but its not as much fun as 6400. Doesn't matter to me Ill go wherever the majority likes to play from. Hitting 9 iron into Par 4's is a lot more fun than 4 iron.

Great time at Eagle Creek with @Carl Spackler @Gator Hazard @kpaulhus @dave s @jetsknicks1and my Dad, weather, golf course and company couldn't have been better. Eagle Creek is a really good course. L

That's a shame.  Yesterday was a SPECTACULAR day for golf!

Great weather, but I played like a doofus.  :doh:

Fortunately my partner (you've met Daron) played well and I rode him like a spotted pony.  I bet he still has whip marks on his ass this morning...  We (he) beat the 2 guys we were playing with, and I made my only decent swing of the day, along with my only decent putt, to make birdie on our last hole, the 12th at Heathrow (island green).  Somehow it held up for a skin in the big Saturday game, so my cruddy golf actually won about $75.  

Better to be lucky than good.  :-)

Anybody play Stoneybrook West?  I'm playing Shingle Creek on Saturday, February 11th with some friends from south Florida and we're going to spend the night and play a round the next morning and I'm looking at Stoneybrook.

I'd rather play closer to Shingle Creek but we want to keep the cost down. Any suggestions? We already have a foursome but I'm sure we could work out two tee times if anybody wants to play :-).

Falcon's Fire which is down the road was a pretty decent course and I think i paid $50 last year, but I have not played Stoneybrook, West or East.  But if you can get a good deal on golfnow, Orange County National is the way to go.  Both of those courses are great plays.

I haven't played Stoneybrook West in a year, so I can't comment on condition right now.  It's a decent course for the money with a good mix of holes and generally in decent shape.  Standard FL golf community course with a lot of homes surrounding.  It gets a lot of out of town play this time of year, so pace of play can be an issue.

Championsgate Country Club is really nice, I liked it better than the other two courses, which are also very nice, it's $50 after 1:30 pm.  on teeoff.com

Eagle Creek is pretty close to there, or are you looking for something different since you've played it before?

Another different option (again, can't speak to current conditions) is Royal St Cloud in Kissimmee.  Links style course, fairly priced, but again, this time of year as a popular snowbird course, pace of play can be a challenge...

      I have to confess. I figured somebody would grab Sanders in the second round. He isn't perfect by any stretch, but so often NFL teams reach for quarterbacks.  I only saw one Colorado Game last year and I watched it in a restaurant/pub/bar place. I have to say I thought Sanders was good. He looked accurate and his O-line was terrible. ... I mean really terrible. Kid was running for his life the second he got the ball in his hands. My thought is that quarterbacks who play behind bad O-lines in college sometimes may make better pros. They get used to having to make quick decisions, and throwing the ball with guys in their face.  A lot of folks are saying his slide is because of his dad. I'm not sure if that's true or not true. I've also heard that next year's crop of QB's is supposed to be really good, so teams feel like "Hey, let's wait until next year."

      I would put money on Will having a better NFL career than Sanders. Mostly because he is a fast processor and his mental game and leadership is top notch. I think that translates better.
