It was sad, but he was given many chances. One time, he apologized for his behavior on his My Swing thread outburst, and I though we'd turned the corner. But this time he just kept going. He let his rude, insulting behavior spiral out of control. 

We can all debate on topics and disagree. But if we respect each other's opinions and be civil, we can get along and even learn from each other. That is what a good forum is all about.

I agree..  It was sad watching him spiral out of control.. Heck, I have had my disagreements with different folks here and still do, but that shouldn't stop us from being civil.

Oh well, you still hate to see this kind of thing happen to other than bots and spammers.

I'd say those are pretty good guidelines. "Don't be a jerk" pretty much the same as my "no mean spirited posts". Maybe slightly more subjective?

I use old Taylor Made clubs from eBay and golf shops.

More forgiving really. We let you be a little mean spirited so long as it's all directed at what is being discussed, not the person typing it.

You can call an idea stupid here but not a person. @pumaAttack did the latter with increasing frequency.

I was looking at Puma's profile and noticed that the disciplinary actions are no longer shown. How do we know if someone is banned now? I don't need to know everything or care to but if I was to respond to a member or Pm one, how would I know they are out? Am I just missing something?

It does not show up for me on the PC or mobile @Missouri Swede and @Ernest Jones I tried two browsers.

Not sure why but oh well.

Edit: it does show him as banned in threads though...

I like the idea that the discipline is not seen anymore but the banned part should probably be on the profile page.
