Okay I am just going to say it. Aesthetically, "Beef" is relatively disgusting to look at. I am sure he is a nice person but I do not enjoy seeing the man blubber and "moobs", let alone the chin beard which somehow ousts the soul patch by a mere hair (pun intended) as the dumbest looking facial hair style.

Otherwise, I like him and hope he does well...just not well enough to be on television a lot...

I find it hard to argue with any of that!

LOL.

So you both don't fancy him.

Could you give me a description of how slim and young and attractive Jordan Spieth is.

FFS.

A poor showing from Beef yesterday, 78,now well down the field.

FWIW, I have no issue with his size. He's a bit of a character and its fun to have characters in golf.

I can relate to a fellow like that a lot easier than say Adam Scott.

Given a choice, the bigger, uglier guys always get my vote.

I just find the lack of health unappetizing in the sport. I feel the same with Lowry, Knost and Stadler. You don't have to workout all the time, just be a reasonable weight.

The Amish beard is icing on the cake.

I like him.  With a the "Seriousness" around pro golf these days, it's nice that there is still room for some variety.  He just needs to watch out that this . .

Doesn't turn into this . . .

I like the guys you listed above and, have no issues with their weight. The Amish beard however, does not work for me at all.

It's easy to get lost in the mix, so if a guy has a way to stand out physically, it's probably a good move.  I don't know how many times I'm watching golf and see a pro and think oh, that's Jordan or DJ and it's not them.  With their hats on and similar builds a lot of them look alike.

"Beef" is easily recognized, whether you like his look or not, the fact that he has a thread here talking about him from a marketing perspective means "Mission accomplished".

Beef, 2 over yesterday and now 10 over for the tournament.

Our thread doesn't seem to be helping him and he'll be an alcoholic shortly.:-O

I love Beef. One time he was interviewed after a round that included a rain delay and asked how he stayed sharp during the delay. He responded that he had a burger and a beer. Haha! Golf needs more characters like that. The guy's got some serious game too! Although, the XL shirt was looking a little tight at Oakmont, time to move up to the 2X, Andy boy!

Beef tees it up in Scotland this week.

The Scottish open at Castle Stuart,Inverness.

Beef being compared to John Daly is very apt,two guys living their lives the way they want.
