I'm still kicking it old-school with the S2 (shortened 1/2").  I've been on a launch monitor recently, tried out the TaylorMade M2 and a few other brand new drivers, and none of them was a significant improvement over the S2...so in the bag it stays.

I went to a Fly-Z XL from a G30 SFT.  It just felt better and is so easy to hit.  Best hits on G30 probably had a little more distance, but the Cobra is more consistent, at least for me.  I am also hitting the XL 5W and 7W.

If I don't miss my guess, wasn't Cobra originally made by Titleist? Is it still the same today? If not I'm guessing that Cobra might not have a huge endorsement budget. But the pros, whose livelihood depends upon how their clubs perform, will use them if they work for them!

Titleist sold Cobra to Puma  in 2010. You're probably right about their player budget situation, although they do have PGA Tour players Rickie Fowler, Jonas Blixt, and Bryson DeChambeau on staff, also Lexi Thompson on the LPGA.

I think that most of the modern drivers are all so similar in terms of performance that people just stick to the brands they are used to,  or get the driver that matches the irons.  I think cobra make superb quality stuff,  maybe just needs some of the staff players to win a few big tournaments or a major.
