Tiger showed again today that he is so far ahead of everyone else. The only way he will be slowed down is when he decides that it is time.

i say 1 - it's a ryder cup year, and Harrington has broken the European major deadlock - watch out for Justin Rose and Ernie Else in 2008! I'll let Woodsie have one....

I too, voted for 2. US Open and Masters. Tiger loves Torrey Pines and he is overdue at Augusta.

I also said two. Torrey Pines seems like the no brainer. I agree about Augusta. It's funny to think that 3 years without a green jacket is over due, but it's true. I would not count him out at Oakland Hills for the PGA either. It's a more traditional course and the greens are treacherous, but it's also a very fair course. If he drives the ball reasonably well, he could end up with three.

I'm going with 3. I could be wrong but it's a good number to rest on.

I think that the play that Tiger showed from British Open 07 until the Target Challenge in December showed that the swing changes and life changes are syncing up in Tiger for the positive. I voted 3.

Lost Ball says two

Tiger will probably be in the hunt for 3....Lost Ball thinks he stumbles in one...maybe the US or PGA though Lost Ball knows people claim he will enjoy those courses and dominate

Winning four is damn near impossible (yet he can do it as he has shown in the past)
Golf is so popular simply because it is the best game in the world at which to be bad.

Tiger has the chance this year to win all four, I think we can pretty much give him the US Open and probably the Masters - the British Open in my opinion is probably the one that could give him the most problems. However, Royal Birkdale is a course which in my eyes could fit perfectly to Tiger's new found game -this could be Tiger's Grand Slam year. I have voted for him to win all four, I have my doubts of course, but is there anyone really going to bet against this guy because I am certainly not!

All the best Tiger in your quest - hope you achieve it!

Hmmm, maybe I'll get the chance to use the phrase - "You're not going to win all four majors if you don't win the first one."

I put 3 only because I don't want him to become bored with the game and quit.

In reality, I think it's going to be very tough to win that last one, but he may very well win the first three.

I'm gonna guess three. I think he will win the Masters, U.S. Open and the PGA.

Probably two but I get tired of hearing pros saying Tiger's gonna win at least two - it then becomes obvious they'll help him by getting out of the way.
The only players who seem to be focusing on raising their game to the standard required are the youngsters - Scott, Rose, in particular but also Paul Casey - plus KJ Choi and Mickelson. Most of the Americans on the TOUR look like their bodies have been shaped in a jelly mold rather than in the gym: it's the young Europeans, Aussies, Far Easterners who are working on their game.
Lovely to see Els win the Honda Classic but I don;t think his head's back in shape yet. Singh may be doing as well as he can right now - he's coming up 45, I think, and all the practising in the world may not be enough. Rose has the game to win anywhere but I fancy either The Masters or, if he's close there but doesn't win, maybe the British Open - it was 10 years ago at Birkdale that a young 17-yr-old amateur chipped in in the closing holes and came as close as any amateur since Bobby Jones to winning...
As for the US Open, I think that Phil and others will have been having a very close look - all the talk of Tiger's 'home course' should be enough to motivate them!
So I can't put a finger on which two Tiger will win but I expect he will.
But we may always have a bit of a wild card winner - last year it was Harrington; there's a Brit who knows he can beat Padraig and will be seething he's been beaten to the first Euro major for years. He's been working out over the winter and looks better than I've ever seen him before - more toned than pork barrel, at last. Keep an eye on Lee Westwood...
