There's absolutely nothing in the "new" M1/M2 drives to make me switch from my current M2.

I wonder if that's the reason why Mark didn't get the clubs to review. I've watched a lot of his reviews, and whilst he is usually positive about the product, he is often realistic when comparing this year's model to last...there may be improvements, but they may be modest. Maybe they don't justify you trading in your old clubs for the latest upgrade?

If this is the TM club that tears up the template on how golf clubs are made, reshapes the paradigm, offers previously unimagined tech and offers unprecedented distance, straightness, easy of hitting and all that jazz (until the 2018 models come out, of course, and blow away the 2017 models in an explosion of previously unseen technology), then maybe that's why TM doesn't want a Crossfield review?

Whichever moderator changed the thread title hit the nail right on the head (not sure how long ago it was; I just noticed).

Agreed.

Weird that all the YouTube golf equipment reviewers are from the UK.

That's why I told you and Erik to develop some British accents and make up some funny anecdotes to add to your Vlogs. You'll sell tons of stuff. . . :-D

We did invent the game

If they were all Hungarian, Moroccan,  etc, that would be considered weird!

Yeah, but Al Gore invented the internet and he's American, so... you know, there'd be no YouTube if it weren't for us.

Go Callaway Anyway !!  Ive never ran out and bought something because Crossfield said something good or bad. If he would be a tick more serious and less childish maybe Taylormade would send him serious equipment. The video was perfect. Thats exactly what he would have acted like if he had the driver in his hand.My Dad said if you dont have anything nice to say than keep your mouth shut. I think you nailed it.  TM basically choose to hide the reality that this launch is nothing more than cosmetic by excluding anyone who does honest, unbiased product reviews.  It's sad really.

I work in consumer products and I've been on the marketing side.  Good marketers develop products that are truly differentiated and innovative by understanding the category and listening to consumers.  Bad marketers don't listen to their consumers.  This launch has nothing to do with the consumer and everything with keeping up with the proverbial Jones's in Callaway and Cobra who are launching new products in January.  Crossfield would call them out for that right away and rightfully so.  There are other ways to promote your existing product line, which I think would be a better approach for Taylormade.  Instead they're taking the "follow the same old playbook" approach.
