The most callused part is lower third of 3rd and 4th fingers of trail hand, assuming Alex Noren is a righty.

Most of my calluses are in the middle to pinky finger of my left hand (I swing righty). I don't get many calluses on the right hand.

His right hand could actually be a bit looser. Loose equals movement, which leads to calluses.

But overall his left hand is likely quite firm.

Ouch, and I thought the callous bulging on my right hand ring finger was bad - I vary the tension - rather loose going back because I can't make a decent backswing with tight hands, my grip gradually tightens up at the top (4/10) and gets tighter at impact (8/10)

Wow! Looks like that dude needs some Udder Cream or Bag Balm!

I think your assumption that he is a righty is correct. Consider the right pinky. Hardly a mark on it. If he uses the Vardon grip that stands to reason.

And iacas is right. A loose grip leads to rubbing, which equals friction, which means hot spots, which lead to either blisters or callouses.

And I'm reminded of Harvey Penick's comments. He said people used to show him their hands to examine the callouses to determine if they were gripping the club properly. He'd tell them he couldn't help them since his players didn't develop callouses. He taught them to swing with an even grip pressure throughout!

I get a similar callus towards the bottom on my right ring finger. Though not quite that monterous. I wear athletic tape on that finger to alleviate it.
