I am always wanting something new, and now (because of this thread) I am on grips.  I have tried a few grips including the Dri-Tac, but always come back to the standard Ping 5L. What grip would be comparable to the 5L and give a little better feel, longevity & tackiness?

Iomic X-Evolution

And probably the Pure DTX

My preferences, but there are lots out there.

the only thing wrong with this car is the nut behind the wheel.

I use these. The best grips I ever used. They last twice as long as regular grips. Great for in the summer as well.

Like others here, I prefer PURE Grips. Specifically, I like the midsize wrap grip that they offer.

PURE DTX midsize. I don't know how long they last because it's been like 3 years and there's still no sign of wear...

I'm not picky. I tend to experiment.

I have GolfPride CP2's on my irons. They're great, and seemingly indestructible. They've lasted more than two years without any signs of wear. Great soft feel, with decent traction.

Pure DTX on my driver. Love it. I don't play much in the rain, but if I had to pick one grip for pure traction, I'd take the DTX.

Winn Dri-Tac on my fairway wood and hybrid. Meh. Very soft feel; similar to the Pure Pro Wrap but without the ridges of a wrap.

Lamkin Ace on the wedges. Just replaced the Pure Pro on my old wedges. They're similar to the Winn. Very soft and grippy, but not "squishy".

If you told me I had to use one grip for the rest of my life, I'd probably take the Pure DTX. But I'll probably continue to try different grips.

I use the MCC +4 midsize grips, I like the same width/thickness the length of the grip.  Not sure why, but it's comfortable to me.
