Cool driving range

My wife and I are in Branson and I snapped this pic of one of the coolest driving ranges I have seen.

Top of the Rock is pretty amazing

That range is as tricked up as Carmel mtn ranch golf course is in SoCal

That is very picturesque. Couldn't help but notice the artificial carpet over real grass though, unless I'm seeing it wrong.

I didn't realize how big it was. And they are still building new courses and lodging. I need to plan a golf trip here. Probably driving distance for you too I think.

I didn't walk down close but I think your right. Not sure if they allow off grass sometimes or not, it rained quite a bit last night.

They allow the pros to hit off the grass. Normal people have to hit off the turf mats. The entire range and bunkers are carpet. Go there in the winter and everything is brown and the range is the same color year round. 

I really think the Bass Pro Shops owner is looking to make Branson into a Pinehurst sort of. Several really nice golf courses and a lodge that's kind of out of the ordinary. I love it is only 2 hours away right now. When Tiger finishes his tribute course to Payne Stewart it will be something I must play.
