I think she just loses focus during a tournament..

Yeah, she's been injured off and on for years now. She's always wearing the KT tape, etc.

It is fascinating that IK Kim has to approach the green with a hybird or a wood and have the perfect score like this.

Wie is having a good round, missed a bunches of putts that could make her to be a real threat to Kim.

Agreed - it's really impressive accuracy with the longer clubs. It's a great course for this tournament and has been more enjoyable for me than many of the men's majors.

Currently focusing on: Key 4 - shorter backswing.

I wasn't aware of IK Kim's back story, but I know now, and I'm glad she won the BO major. It appeared many of her fellow LPGA pros were genuinely happy for her as well. Heartwarming.

All in all, it was nice to watch the women play well and see a well deserved win go to I. K. Kim.

The decision to start with a par 3 seemed odd.  I understand they had logistical problems but I can't recall ever playing a course personally that started with a par 3.  Has any major for either men or women started that way?
