At the practice round right now and will post photos and vids as long as the battery lasts. I'll take requests for any particular players.

These look nice, thanks.  I'm a little behind -- I forgot that the L.A. Open had a different sponsor this year, so I thought I was going to have to cancel my weekend plans and get out to Riviera.

No more data cap, updated all previous vids to HD. Here are more and short game shots coming up.

Yeah, I know, my finger is blocking.

Gotta think that Justin Thomas has a slim lead on Jordan Spieth for POY and the Playoffs could go a long way in determining who will win that honor. So these last 4 tourneys, starting with the Northern Trust, mean a lot for these two guys.

The Glen Oaks Club, which is hosting this tournament because the Presidents Cup is being held at Liberty National in a few weeks, is not a course I'm familiar with. It has a very unique look to it, as if Augusta National was somehow transplanted onto Long Island.

In my UnderArmour Links stand bag...

I have a few favorites in golf.

Jordan Spieth, Dustin Johnson, Matt Kuchar, Rory Mcllroy, Jason Day, Phil Mickelson and offcourse our dutch player Joost Luiten (not very good, ranked 85 or something)

Rory and Phil had a bad day. Matt should step up his game :) ....
The rest is doing pretty good. Russel is getting a lot of points for the FedEx ranking if he keeps playing like this. 8 bridies en 2 bogey's

2 bad they start showing it on tv at 2.00 (their local time).

Yea, that sucks for Lucas...one of my favorite players.  Hope he is ok.  I know this will sound bad, but I really hope this is a case for going back to nails in our shoes.

Way back in the day I was playing with my Uncle, who was a damn good golfer, and he had almost this exact thing happen to him. Except his right foot shot straight back instead of back and behind him! He suffered no injury other than a bad shot!

Spieth was on fire today. Seems he was the only one out there who could putt those greens!

This might be the first time I'm sitting down to watch a non-major this year ... or possibly in even longer.  Yikes.  But this is great.  CBS concurrent stream on the PGATour site is very convenient too.

    • Nice, I just thought mine was a decent guess to rule out a few things and did not expect to hole out.
    • Hey team. This is a very difficult hole at the course I started golfing on and where I often go back. I always struggle - it’s narrow (35y) with trees on both sides. If you go lateral, you’re out of bounds. The green also feels small.    I play the white tees usually, so 30 or so yards up from here. If I hit my driver, it usually goes lateral and lost or if it curves it hits a tree and I lose a ton of distance.   I carry my 7i probably about 140-145, with 5-7 yards of roll out. Driver is 265 with roll out on a good strike with a premium ball, but probably closer to 220 carry on average. My hybrid goes about 180-200 including roll out but has been fading quite a bit recently not too much wind on this hole and the ground is hard, but I’m not sure I’ve practiced a long punch. If that’s what I need to work on, happy to put in the time.  Appreciate any advice anyone has, approach to holes like this, or other things to consider.
