Sergio to Callaway?

Check it out, Sergio and Adidas/Taylormade have come to a "mutual" split. He's been seen playing Callaway stuff.

Sergio and TM are done, not necessarily Adidas and Sergio. I was always surprised TMAG stuck with Sergio for so long, when he would act like a jerk and give up in events, and I was told by a TM guy a few years ago that Sergio is buddies with someone high up at Adidas.

Callaway or PXG seem like likely choices, he's been using a Callaway wedge and Toulon putter. Titleist has Spieth, Thomas and Scott and typically focuses more on up and coming players, making sure their ball stays #1 and doesn't put out big bucks for signings.

At first I was a bit surprised, but Sergio did start his career with Titleist, so it's not like he's been with TaylorMade forever.

Sure feels like it.  15 years is a lifetime in golf these days.

I forgot about the Titleist days. I think if you'd pressed me I'd have remembered. The famous shots of him in 1999 at Medinah are in Titleist gear.

Callaway or PXG were the guesses I had when someone told me of this news the other day.
