In winter I use nerf balls inside ..it helps me see trajectory..

I use to slice when I first started out ...now I draw the ball ...once in awhile if i have a dog leg right I may slice slightly...but intentionally and sometimes if I'm over zealous I may hook one...but for the most part I'm hitting 5/7,fairways.

I suggest -● 1st check your grip ( pro teacher video) much different to draw vs fade.

● take a slightly  closed stance

● BP center w neutral shaft (straight up & down ) dont shut the face

● hit wedges first ( easier to hit ) go through all your wedges ...slight closed stance ..until 90% of the shots go straight or a slight draw

Next thr 9i &,8i when all is well w those clubs try the 7i continue to go through the bag.

Plz let me know if this helps

Best to you

Thanks for the tips, great that they help you hit the ball solid.

None of those are things that I’m working on with my swing (I take lessons from a teaching pro), and since this isn’t a swing tips thread I won’t go into detail here.

FYI - this particular thread is where members post their daily practice sessions to achieve the “5 minutes daily” challenge. Read the first post of this thread that explains the rules and try to get the achievement if you’re interested.

Day 29

Cool day so I went to the PGA store. I averaged 199.8 yards and almost no deviation off of the center. So I could not find fault.

Day 26, February 3 2020.  20 putting (over carpet, ruler drill from LSW).  Didn't get the streak I had yesterday going, but did okay.  Missed 2 right and one left. Speed to go at least 4' past the end of the ruler, where it hits a box (would have gone much further, other than a wall being there;  I was not working on speed control today).

Day 27, February 4 2020.  SpeedStix in the back "yard" today.  Got up to 111 on the final green stick swing, so that was neat.  Protocol 1.

Day 37 - February 5, 2020

Full swing work again. This is going to be almost everything that I do.

Really good session today, about 30 balls. Started off with some faster, then figured out a little thing about the direction my hands have to go from the top, and how much easier it is to get the club well inside/shallow, and hit some pretty pure shots after that with a heavy left rotational basis.

Day 62

Hit 15 balls with a 7-iron after work. Last round still struggling with open face at impact, resulting in big pushes/push fades/push slice. Not rolling the face open during takeaway has helped a little bit but still not solved. One of my notes from my last lesson was that my rotation is stalling, and I ol. think that working this out might be the key to eliminating the right miss. So did multiple very slow rehearsals before each ball. Ball seemed to hit the center of the net, but without ball flight visual feedback, not sure where the face is. Lesson scheduled for 2/8, so if all else fails, I'll know soon enough how to fix this.

Been doing 10-15 min of chipping & putting indoors

Also 1.5 hrs. Masssge Bi-weekly. This is helping through the winter doldrums.

Day 28, February 5 2020.  Five minutes indoor full swing (6-iron, off a mat, into a net) this evening.  Might have a chance to get some video tomorrow and to play this weekend, so I did some of that despite my glaring weakness elsewhere.

Day 38 - February 6, 2020

Full swing work again. This is going to be almost everything that I do.

I did ten to fifteen minutes of pitching and chipping today, because I had a bit of a headache and wanted to push the success I had yesterday further away, so that I would have to work at it to get it back again.

Day 32

While the weather was cool, decided it was time to hit a few balls.  Distance suffered, but felt good in terms of contact and direction. Warmer weather for weekend, so full weekend, so full bag will be tested

Haven't posted here before.

Was on a 11 month streak of 100 push ups, 2 minutes of planks and sixty slow mo swings in doors up to Jan 4. Got a brutal cold and just back to the daily routine two nights ago.

Day 33

I only worked my wedges today.

50º average 90 yards, good loft and direction was much better than usual.  Could not get a solid bite using range balls, however.

56º same bite problems but loft was good with much better direction and follow through.

60º, same as above, great hight on the "Phil Flops"
