Day 9: Today was about 45 minutes of swinging. Going from just drill swings to over exaggerating rehearsals and then full swings. I think at times I need to just take an athletic swing and let the body move as it’s been rehearsing.

worked on set up and alignment today as well. More or less just checking things off. Today was a good day….

Day 5: 30 Mar

Repeat of yesterday - plenty of takeaway drills to try and make a deep turn part of my normal game. Added ~20mins of indoor putting practice to finish.

Day 11: 3/30/2023

I went to the outdoor range today and it was closed to reseed the teeing areas. ... Bummer... 😢

So, instead I worked on my priority pieces both in the garage and in front of the mirror.
I also did some mirror and gate putting on the office putting mat using the Perfect Putt Target.

My bag is an ever-changing combination of clubs.

A mix I am forever tinkering with.

Hit the new MP-33s. 7I, PW, and 2I. Hit them pretty well, to be honest.

Day 13:

Did more flat wrist drill, 15 balls. Then did the towel drill for low point practice, 15 more balls. Doing these drills that deconstruct the swing a bit usually help me recover when I am struggling with swing.

Then hit some almost golf balls with driver in the dark.

Day 3. Played my first round of the year with my wife, a local 9 hole course. Had some sketchy shots early on including a shank on my first iron shot (Thanks @Vinsk!). I did par a few holes and had a nice 4 iron on a par three into the wind.

Day 89: Played 9 holes is some windy conditions (30 mph, gusting into the 50s). I was playing it as a 4-5 club wind into it, 2 club wind with it. Actually very pleased with how I played, even though I was +6. Nearly holed out from 90 yards for a 2, played the wind perfectly a few times, and generally good contact.

Day 34 (31 Mar 23) - Played 18 today at Minnesott.  Was able to get out ahead of the Friday scramble, able to work on multiple shots into the green as I was staying about 3 holes ahead of the next closest group.  Was like being on the range but the scenery was always changing.

Day 14:

Did some pitching/chipping practice. Also worked on recentering while hitting almost golf balls with slow swings. I noted that it felt like I was recentering weight into my lead toe/ball of foot, so tried a feel of the weight getting more into lead heel, and that felt more balanced through impact to follow through.

    • The term I hear most often is "double teeing" which means the course/club has starting times from both the #1 and #10 tee.  I have encountered this many times and we know if we are the first group off #10, we may well get to #1 and have to wait because there are groups still with tee times yet to tee of #1.  In most instances, where the course/club has a starter, he normally explains this situation.  In this case, the pro advised what you would could/would encounter making the turn to #1.  And, that is exactly what happened.  Probably would have been wise to talk to the pro after playing back 9 and ask when you could go off #1 since apparently that club does not double tee.   Regardless, the outburst towards the other group was uncalled for.  And, I don't blame the member for being upset.  As a member of a private club, you are responsible for the actions of your guest.  I have played many times as a guest in the UK and I am pretty damn sure my host was responsible for my actions while at the club.  I know at the clubs I have belonged to here in the US, that is the way it is.  As a matter of fact, the member may find himself being brought before management and facing possible suspension.  So, I don't blame him for being upset.  However, as the host, he really should have stepped up and put a stop to the OP's actions.  JMHO
    • Day 32: worked for about 10 minutes on my drill. Filmed it as well for a check in. I think it’s slightly better but still seeing some issues.
    • Day 44 (26 Dec 25)  -  played in the Friday men’s shootout with a twist - used the Toney Penna persimmons and MacGregor blades - had a blast playing these clubs.  They really help in zoning in on making solid ball contact.  Scoring was solid - had several looks at birdie and had a few par saves.  Overall a day of focused course management.
    • Day 2: 2025.12.27 Eighteen holes at Kauri Cliffs. Focusing on trying to keep flex in right leg during backswing.
    • Day 136 12-26 Had a different practice planned today but life happened. Worked on "wide to wide" and still working on remaining flowy. Starting the club head in front of the ball as a drill, is helping with the flow of the swing.
