Day 72

Day 20: Played 18 today. Foggy at the beginning. My rangefinder didn’t work!😜 Played OK. My driver is coming along nicely. My long irons, 3W and hybrid need work.

Day 299 - October 22, 2020

Did some putting while messing with an audio sync issue on the new TV. I think resetting the DirecTV might help fix it, but stuff is recording right now. 😄

The new living room carpet will not really work for putting at all. It's very "textured."

Day 123.  Yesterday (10/21) was the second miss within 30 days (yesterday + 10/13;  previous miss was more than 30 days ago).

Today, I did 45 minutes of putting practice, around the clock drills from 4', generally around 24 putts to finish the twelve,  thus averaging around 50% from 4' -- not good enough. 

Why am I able to do the ruler drill so well and miss so many within 4'?  Do they break that much?

Day 314

Did takeaway/backswing work. Not quite there with nixing the right hand regrip mid backswing, although significantly improved.

Still searching for a feel/thought for completion of backswing.

Day 1 - A new start - with a plan

Based on My Swing (StuM) I am going to work on the COVID Drills day 1-5 and Day 21.  Today I did the Day 1 & 2 Drills.

played 18 today. Best my driver and irons have been in YEARS! Sadly I’m still struggling around the greens.

Superspeed workout.

Takeaway/backswing rehearsals, some slo-mo swing mapping.

Hit balls with driver for fun.

Day 124.   I spent ten minutes after work hitting 7-iron shots, off a mat, into a net, real balls, indoors.

Day 50 - Hitting more balls indoors, just trying to get used to swinging indoors.

Day 316

Worked on figuring out a feel/thought to take on course for what I’m working on lately. Came to “right hand, right heel” as the mantra. “Right hand” part to not move my right hand into a strong grip during takeaway. “Right heel” part to get my weight pressure into the inside of my right heel, which means I’ve done a good turn.

Hit about 30 balls, using this thought.

Day 125.  Played 18.  Drove it poorly, putted worse.  Approached decently well, chipped like a champ. 

I made my first-ever birdie at hole 16 my home course, which has been my home course since mid-2008.   That hole was the last hole for me to make a par on it once upon a time too.  Missed the green but chipped in!

Day 23: Worked on my new priority piece and filmed with driver, 3W and 7 iron.
