Edit: just read my faux pas about bulk posting. Won’t happen again @iacas 🫣

I appreciate that you do add details.

Day 65 (01 May 23) - Worked on impact today with 6i, alignment rods and hard foam balls.  Set up to have one rod perpendicular to swing path lying on the ground about 6 - 8" behind the ball (to promote ball first contact) and second one set on angle towards me to act as centering point (keeping head still).  Kept swings to around 1/2 to 3/4.

Day 62 (02 May 23) - walked the front nine at Minnesott, as I was solo did a two ball better ball format.  Used the round to work on swing tempo using phrase “1  - 2 then follow on thru” to keep it consistent.  The work on tempo helped slow down my rushing thru the swing.

Day 14. Shoulder feels better but I only did about 20 minutes of chipping, pitching and slower swings with a 9 iron indoors. I want it to heal before Erie.

Day 38: May 2

Played 18 holes and set a new PB, despite recording an eight(!!) on the 1st! Put the hole out of my head (I just laughed it off), knuckled down and played a good chunk of golf. Some bad shots here and there but minimised the damage and moved on.

Day 183, May 2, 2023

Spent five or ten minutes hitting a few balls with the same feels that I had in 2020, but which also re-committed to here:

  • Cup the hell out of the left wrist going back.
  • Let fall/throw (a combo of both) the club "behind" me with the right arm.

The ball goes left if I don't do the first thing well.

Day 9 - Short range session working on Evolvr feedback, then more dry reps at home and rolled some putts at home.

Ballstriking was really really good at the range, although I liked what I saw on video in the dry swings at home better than what I saw on video at the range.

Day 67 (03 May 23) - More work with the impact drill of using an alignment rod perpendicular to the swing path about 6" behind the ball to reinforce hitting the ball first.  Used the 6i and hard foam balls.  Definitely audible when I get to too steep and the click of the club nicking the rod resounds.

    • I’m posting my Stack System results here. I’m not sure what to make of the information below, other than I have plenty of room for improvement.  I was going a little to fast at the  start and need to slow down and pay attention to the timer between shots. I hit some balls after this snd the launch monitor showed several were 245 total which I felt may have been a little generous.  They were good shots (for me) but just looking at the distance markers at the range I felt I was shorter than that.
    • Baseline fine, and boy do I have room for improvement.
    • I've watched the video and I like Brendan's presentation. It explains exactly how they arrived at creating the original VisionTrack itself so many years ago.
    • I am wondering if anybody has ever used these and if so did you use the 3.0 or the 1.0.  I think it might help prevent injury in my hips/groin that seems to show up every couple of years.  Would love to hear as well if they restrict swing in any way.   CORESHORTS | The Original CORESHORTS™ Revolutionary X band design mimics the functional anatomy of the body's core area to boost performance | Anti-odor technology prevents the growth...
    • I think dish soap is ideal. It's not good to wash your hands with dish soap because it strips away all the oils and dries them out a bunch. That's what is making the grip dirty though - you want something that will dissolve oils. Hand soap is generally gentle on your hands and won't do much to clean your grips - at least not without a lot of effort.
