Day 69 (29 Aug 23) - More wedge practice today, working on rotating thru with the upper torso.  Smooth rotation, feeling the bounce, click of the ball off the club face….sweet music to my ears.

Day 119 - Did a "Return to Form" Stack session.

Day 302, August 29, 2023

Played 18 at Moraine today, but stopped at Beavercreek to hit about 60 balls this morning (though 20 were pitch and chip shots). Went pretty extreme with the feels and it paid off, honestly.

Day 52: Did a stack session. Did some slow rehearsal swings in between sets.

Day 6:

Hit some balls with 6-iron, using Mevo+ to make sure I was swinging slow - tried to keep SS at 75mph, but ended up averaging around 82mph. Still working on drop hands then slide hips (or turn) feel. Starting to get comfortable with it but still getting out of sequence. My rehearsals and slow practice swings feel fluid and athletic, but not as good over the ball. Adding the sense of a slight pause at the top of backswing seems to help.

Day 70 (30 Aug 23) - while doing a few tidying things in preparation for TS Idalia, spent a few moments working on P5 thru P8 with 7i, focus on clearing hips, keeping shaft lean into impact.  Hit a few abbreviated shots (starting at P5) using hard foam balls.

Day 120 - Indoor putting and a bit of mirror work feeling the new feelings from Evolvr.

Day 303, August 30, 2023

Hit some shorter shots (with partial wedges) trying to figure out the new release pattern. 🙂

Day 53: Putted for a while on my mat. I have a screen positioned to be a mirror, which is great. Worked on having the handle higher and my weight more in my heels with my knees bent. Looked and rolled pretty good.

Day 7:

Did Stack baseline workout. Happy I finally got off my butt and started this. Speeds were all over the place, initial driver swings ranged from 101-112 mph, and subsequent stack swings were similar in distribution. I don't think it was the radar's fault because I am using Mevo+, so I'll chalk up to shitty technique on my part. It was a hot day and smoke from distant fires caused low air quality, so maybe it wasn't the best day to begin.

Also did a little work on downswing as a pre-stack warmup.

Hit some putts on my mat at home. Really focusing on start lines by putting through a gate about 2 feet ahead of the ball.

Day 72: Aug 30

Day 71 (31 Aug 23) after almost 4” of rain (from TS Idalia), had a super saturated backyard to pitch in, I think the grass grew an inch or two overnight as well.  Good practice on pitching from “the rough” with the SW.  Worked on upper body rotation to stay smooth and not get handsy.

Day 304, August 31, 2023

Hit some 6I downtown when a lesson re-scheduled. Checked the feel versus the real in the mirror. Go figure, it looks way more normal than it feels. 😉

Day 21, August 31st, 2023. 

Played 9 holes after work. Results were not good (mostly because of my putting). Hit some really good shots with the feels of what I want to do. Big pause feeling, and sending the hands out in a wide arc away from my head. Also, had some very good short game shots, with good technique.

Day 121 - Proper practice session at the range. New feeling for priority piece feels really good.  

Got driver alignment and aim figured out at the end too.

Putted a bit too, new setup has been incredible for my start line consistency.

Day 54: did a stack session. Worked on backswing feels with slow rehearsal swings on rest breaks.

Day 8:

Too dark to do much when I got home, so chipped some almost golf balls into a net.
