Day 2:

worked on transition palmar flexion, mostly rehearsals and slow swings with almost golf balls. Got in 10 real balls at the end

Day 49: 4/12/2024

Got to the range today and worked on my priority pieces first. 
Then I "played" my course on the driving range. Irons were looking solid. The driver was a bit sloppy. 

My bag is an ever-changing combination of clubs. 

A mix I am forever tinkering with.

Day 277: Played 18 (+5 77). Then worked on putting for about 30 minutes after the round.

Day 528, April 12, 2024

Went downtown at 7am to work for two hours, but only ended up getting in time AFTER lessons because I spent the two hours before dealing with the GoDaddy/MediaTemple DNS issues that took down almost all of my sites.

Day 28. April 12 - 20ish mins doing drills from my latest evolvr session. Slow, lots of rehearsals to feel the new movement. Lots of poor contact and some video for feedback on the movement. Lots of learning ahead.

Did something to my right hip, so slow motion stuff with the backswing while simultaneously stretching/pushing that hip… It was hurt a bit on Monday, too, but the soccer game last night wasn't particularly wise, perhaps. 😉

Day 29. Nice out this afternoon so I spent a bit of time chipping off gnarly lies, pretty happy with the results overall. That was followed by full shots into the net with more work on recent Evolvr drills. Learning new movement patterns is hard

Today was a busy day, between filing my taxes, mowing the lawn, getting the groceries and ... of course, watching The Masters. 
The only thing I got done today was my over-speed training.

Day 121 (13 Apr 24) - Worked with 7i, Divot Board, hard foam balls - worked on target point and proper alignment (using the board as an alignment rod), i.e. aim small, miss small.  Wrapped up session doing similarly with the 58* and regular balls hitting to about 25yds…

    • First - glad to see these popping up again. Now to the topic at hand - I would rather be option 1.  If I know how far it's going (I mean a yard or two) I can always play to the wider parts of the fairway and/or the green and still do reasonably well.  Now if I could just really hit the "number" that well. 
    • Day 2 (10 Mar 25) - Long day of driving to dr appt with son.  Thankfully got in one of my fave putting drills (two ball side by side) - the goal to have both balls come off the putter face equally by having them come off the putter face as close to the same time as possible.  First few rolls - the toe was leading the way as that ball flew off the face.  By the end of the drill both balls were basically equal off the face, rolling to within a couple of inches of each other.  Nice drill of focusing on squaring the face.  BTW - I was using the old Odyssey DF992. 
    • Day 161 - 2025-03-10 Got a decent, long session in. Focused mostly on the backswing feels, and moved on toward the end of the four hours (not all hitting balls, I installed a motion sensing light switch in there too, and worked with a student over FaceTime for a bit) on the downswing feel.
    • Day 31: 3/10/25 Backswing drills with the ProSendr. Reinforcing iron play from yesterday.
    • I wrote up a response as a YouTube comment that I won't be posting on YouTube. What an absolute load of garbage. Your arm doesn't "slingshot" or "bounce" - you use the muscles in your arm to move your arm and throw the baseball. In one video you've managed to get roughly five areas of science almost completely backward. At best, your video sets up a straw man as nobody is telling golfers to do anything like what you show when you're demonstrating a "bad tennis player." The golfers you see on your lesson tee must be from a completely different world than almost anyone else on Earth, because most golfers do something more like what you prefer to teach - their arms are too passive for too long, they stay "up" too long, and are carried out toward the ball from the top. From there, they stall their pivot, often early extending while right tilting to TRY to not swing 15° left. You know… we have ways of measuring these things these days, but you're still stuck with a poor understanding of how the golf swing works and are peddling it to some unsuspecting and unfortunate souls. But, I know… you teach "athletes." I hope for your sake that's just code for "dumb" because anyone with even a room temperature IQ understands that there's nothing truly "effortless" about the golf swing.
