39-35 today for a +2 (74) on a 72.6/129. Struggled over the first few holes as I bogeyed five straight to start. Wasn't even striking the ball bad - just couldn't hit a green and didn't hit good chips + one penalty. Then I went -3 over the next 6 to save the round and then parred the last 7. Golf is fun. -

The Holdovers. Birdie. I’m a big Paul Giamatti fan and felt this was an exceptional performance. The film has a great blend of comedy and heart felt drama. -

I rewatched this last night on HBO Max, and I re-affirm this. I loved Dune Par 1. It finally brought Dune to the big screen in the best way possible. Dune Part 2 is so much better, which is impressive. I like the direction they went with the characters in the story compared to the books. It was brought up to date in a good way. Yea, I am glad to see that they are working on Dune Part 3. -

I love Louisville Golf's Niblicks, which they made for me decades ago and I began using again, though I now replaced the shafts for whippier ones (see my recent post). Unlike your photo, mine had steel bottoms. Forget about eBay, Louisville still makes them. They work much better for me than the modern metal woods. -

Went to the range today at Scottish Highlands in Salem NH. Worked on getting my chest turning away and then through the ball. Worked out well as shots had a little more distance and more consistent flights. Gained 20 yards with the few drivers I hit. They have a pretty good short game practice area so I spent a good half hour hitting chips and pitches. After the range I went to the gym for a back workout. Went well and I'm excited to move forward with this new workout program.
