It looks really weird in slow motion when you scrub back and forth. I'm guessing the ball ricocheted off the ground?

Kill slow play. Allow walking. Reduce ineffective golf instruction. Use environmentally friendly course maintenance.

Haha, I've seen friends hit this shot relatively regularly!

Currently focusing on: Key 4 - shorter backswing.

LOL, of course it ricocheted off the ground.  The only other possibility was that it would embed, and that ain't happening on a mat.
