I don’t really have any good vibes left for Sergio. No more bs fabricated apologies. He’s just a bratty prick. Period. Even if it is marital issues it’d be most likely due to him being...a bratty prick. Done with this fool. Classless punk.

Let him and the guy who shot 202 go on a road trip together...

Yeah I read that article about his interview regarding the incident, what a nut job. His explanation made no sense at all. Can’t imagine any pro taking him as a caddy after that stunt.

Geez - you're reading a lot into it. I think it's a combination of the following:

A) He's just struggling to accept that his best days are behind him

B) He's just a prick.

I don't think you can say that happy marriages are the main cause of great golf.

He’s 39. The same age as Justin Rose and Adam Scott. Doesn’t seem to be affecting them. He shouldn’t be of that mindset his best days are behind him. When you hit your 40s, then you can start to think that.

I’m not saying it’s marital issues, just saying I wouldn’t be surprised if it was.

Sergio needs a ban. He’s getting worse. He threw his driver at his caddie at the Open after going OB as well. Part of the problem is that he can be banned from the European tour (for instance) yet go and play on the PGA. Also both of  these are members organisations and as such frequently loth to censure one of their own. I think it’s time for an independent agency to enforce disciplinary action(perhaps within a rules guideline agreed by the major tours). This could mean worldwide accumulation of demerits leading to bans/fines etc.

The USGA and the R&A would probably be fine for this.

    • Day 159 1-19 Flow drill while attempting to add arch in wrist on downswing. Not where it needs to be but felt good working on swing flow.
    • Day 1 (19 Jan 26) - after a week lay-off due to travels, felt great to get in some drills in the backyard today.  Started with lead arm only short pitches focused on squared face and light divot post ball.  Haven’t done this in a while and it showed, with some skulls and slices.  Settled into easy flighted balls - wrapped up with standard two handed swings.  Good restart to the daily drills.

    • Day 19, 1/19.  Finished work in time to spend 25 minutes hitting balls (hit 15) indoors, off a mat, into the net.  Usual focus.
    • Day 30 - 2026-01-19 Got 10 minutes in on the mat / net working on exagerrating movements I'm working on. And grip. Also worked with my friendly AI to summarize key negative tendencies I have so that I can build a personal checklist to follow. Will do more mirror work tonight.
