Ah, just checked the op’s hcp, he stated it as 11.x. Well the answer on the original question is that its a good thing. Your handicap will go up and reflect your true golf abilties at the moment. Looks to me like your current handicap is a bit to low. -

Just read that most European countries will not adopt the WHS per 1-1-20, they will start using it per 1-1-21.

So what happens when you have a 1 yard putt for par? If you miss them a lot (lets say more then 60%), you have a glaring weekness putting. Might be because of lining up or yips.

Ehh, ok lets do a beer or two. Don’t think the Dutch women are at the same level as the USA, but you never known. And @GolfLug , you Americans know close to nothing about mens soccer. The difference between women and mens soccer is HUGE!

Where I live, you check the result first. Then the marker signs and gives the card back. This might differ for the USA, but thats how it works here in Spain. Played many tournaments over here. So yes, I will point a finger. Skunky move by the marker who knows this is possibly the best card (relative to handicap) the player ever carded. I would be rooting for him, if I was the marker. I would make sure my part would be done for sure.

Its the players responsebility, but....... That marker stinks like a skunk. How often are you the marker of a guy who plays 6 shots better then his handicap. And the marker also was’nt a newbie. What a jerk. Or..... Was there a reason not to sign? Was the player a sandbagger? Were there questions about the way the 42 points were made? Was there something behind the scenes we don’t know about?

It could slow down a bit on a par3. On a par4 and 5, you would be faster then a normal 4 ball. And a lot faster then a 3ball or 2ball. So, no problem, maybe a bit strange and some people in the flight behind you might get irritated because they don’t get what was happening. All good to me. -
Yes, I would want to know. After his scores are known, I will decide if I will show up. I will definitly not show up if my last round scores would be better then his. Easy win.
