  1. Restricts a pendulum swing. Tuck the finger and give it a whirl. I bet u hit it long first couple of rolls.
  2. I think you stole my bedtime reading list, lol. This and many hundreds of other articles are why I'm an assured AGW denier. If it were all true, there would be no need for the legion of demonstrable falsification, fraud and lies that have followed this illicit hoax since day 1.
  3. Double overlap, like Furyk does with his regular clubs.
  4. Admirable because I know how devout you are on this topic. I am a proud denier of AGW although climate change cannot be denied. That's why/how the term came to be. And, I am interested in learning more about coral reef degradation; not a believer that it's man-caused but willing to keep an open mind.
  5. I'm with you. Shocking this happened in a Euro-Tour sanctioned event. Happens to me all the time and yeah, I get pissy. One of the groups I play with allows rake and place for this situation, another doesn't. I've been in footprints so deep I had to take a penalty drop, no fun.
  6. A bit concerned that it appears Ivanka wants to make this her signature issue. She went so far as to meet with Gore today, of all people. Hopefully this is just an appeasement play, although I hate those too. No time or money to chase this down a rabbit hole over the next 4 years. Too many far more pressing issues to solve.
  7. While I accurately predicted his ultimate placing in the event, he played much better than I expected. I truly enjoyed having him back in the field, don't think I missed a shot over the weekend. As I've said before, his comportment is more likeable these days, I love seeing him cutting up with Jordan and Rickie. He doesn't seem to take himself so seriously now, so thats more fun to watch for me although I'm not sure he can compete with these guys minus that killer instinct. Dropped a few f-bombs but that isn't something that overly bothers me since I do it too. He was great in the booth on Sat, missed him there on Sunday if he went in at all. I don't think he'll ever win another major but I expect him to enter some lower level tournaments down the road and I could see him winning another tournament or 2. Doubt he'll catch Snead though. I look forward to his next event, something I wouldn't have said in years past.
  8. Ok, I feel you. I'm more concerned because I predicted a pretty nice range for Tiger to finish, 15-18. And now one of those slots is gone, significantly dropping my odds at winning the M2 driver that was offered to the over/under champion.
  9. He's in last place (now), how would he warrant a final grouping? This is more common than it may appear, just not used to Tiger being the 1st single off.
  10. He did it! Color me impressed.
  11. Over. Between 15-18.
  12. If he can stay within 5 of PReed on day 1, I will be impressed.
  13. Interesting. This has always been the case in the US but for some reason, I thought it was a little different in the UK. I sort of had the thought that kids were brought up on the links land and most everyone played from a young age. Guess not so much.
  14. I'd be curious what impact a hole in the driver would have. I played with a dented Nike Sasquatch for 6 years and pounded it. Would a hole near the heel, smaller than a needle, affect performance dramatically?
  15. I would opt out if I had the option, which I suspect would have to be offered.
  16. This happens every election cycle and although I've been through a number of them, it never ceases to stun me. My proposal to replace the Electoral College is a straight county tally. Obviously tongue in cheek but analyzing that against a popular vote and I think the Electoral College is just fine.
  17. Great dude, I'm a big fan, notwithstanding his flaws. We all got em.
  18. Ballot preparers were stoned.
  19. I like the Electoral College.
  20. I'm down. Trump's a frickin Democrat as it is. I hope he jacks up Republicans and Dems alike. We just needed some change from the elitism that so many Americans have embraced to their own unwitting demise the past 12 years. It's a good day.
  21. I voted too...for the winner.
  22. India, Pakistan and Afghanistan do it. It's very odd. I don't typically have problems converting time but during the 10 or so years I managed a team in India, I never quite got a handle on that half-hour offset. My vote would be to retain DST all year.
  23. Forgive me, perhaps I overstepped by offering my thoughts.
