  1. Good for him! It was nice to see him win that thing. He's a hard guy not to like.
  2. I agree 100% his attitude is way better then Sergio's. That said, my two favorite golfers are Sergio and Poulter. (I know, I know, LOL). I'm thinking the fire those guys have inside them might be the one thing Fowler is lacking.
  3. I can't understand why I keep rooting for Sunday Rickie, but I can't help myself. I wait all day for the inevitable disaster, then when it happens I feel bad for him. Oh well, here we go again, LOL. Lets see if he can snatch a victory from the jaws of defeat!
  4. very cool video. Thanks. BTW his wing is just like mine... only different. 😥
  5. Thanks,so much @iacas ! I just saw the notification that I won the Silver medal for ROY, and I want to congratulate all the other winners! I appreciate and enjoy the time I spend here. The back and forth can get heated at times, but if you're willing to listen to other view points, there is a lot to be learned. We all go through periods where life happens, and things like family take priority. That's what happened to me, and why I haven't posted for a few months. Things have improved greatly on that front, and it's nice to be back! I wish everyone a Healthy and Happy New Year, and hope everyon
  6. I'm at a crossroads with golf right now. Without getting into details, the last 2-3 months or so were a disaster as far as my golf game until just recently when things turned around. I'm heading up to Long Island for the Holidays on Monday, and I'm not sure if I even want to bring my clubs with me. I think I need a break to assess what I want from this game going forward. I'm not sure if I'm burnt out, or having just recently coming out of the worst "slump" I've ever had will give me the incentive to put in the work needed to make sure I'll never go through what I just did again. I'm fortunate
  7. $270 per hybrid and $12-1300 for SGI irons which are meant for entry level and or senior golfers. The pricing of golf equipment is out of control. Way to grow the game Callaway...
  8. My daughter was in a summer golf program at Bethpage Park about 20 years ago, and Tom Wargo put on a clinic one afternoon at the range for the kids (plenty of dads showed up too). Wargo was a really nice down to earth guy, and talked about the various jobs he had before getting on the Senior Tour. My memory isn't the best, but I think he said he was an steel worker. That would make sense, because even in his 50's, he looked wiry strong in a Marlboro Man way. He came off more like a Bethpage regular then a Tour Pro.
  9. LOL.I also posted how impressed I was Sunday with what he did. I also posted in the tournament thread on Saturday I hoped Tiger would win so Colin could get to see it.Just curious how a big fan of his could forgive him, and could then be so relentlessly unforgiven to a young female golfer.
  10. OMG. Really? (I edited my initial response) but this coming from one of the biggest Tiger fans here strikes me as really amusing. Wonder why his "indescretions" the last decade or so aren't as bothersome?
  11. Heck, I would eat a bucket of those... just because! LOL
  12. I'm not trying to be a smart alec, but what is that? I've never heard of it.
  13. I wasn't complaining about Tiger. If you look back I said it's weird how a guy could win the entire playoff with his first win of the season. Then I said the Final has a strange feel. One guy wins, another gets a bigger check. It's just so different from any other sport's playoff system.
  14. It's such a strange tournament and playoff system. Tiger wins it, and Rose gets the biggest check.
