I have a very similar driver (slightly different insert and no horse shoe on the soleplate) and it's not a 300 yard combo. My Ram Golden Ram, Lynx, and MacGregor VIP persimmons are though. I strongly suspect that learning to hit this drive > 280 yards would surely make a 300+ drive with a modern driver almost automatic.

He said "300" yards, not 500 yard drives.

Well, he can choke down on it. Plus, Jack only uses his 500 yard swing when he wants to clear mountains.

Thanks for the info on the hammer.

The web site states this driver was designed by a six time world champ. So, I think I'm going to get the hammer besides its only $99 comes with a 3 wood and a book of secrets. This is a lot cheaper than most drivers on the net and its states that I'll get 50 more yards on my drives which will get me close to my  300 yard goal.

The Power Bilt Citation Persimmon Driver looks cheap and i don't think I'll hit it 300 yards.

One thing to bear in mind though is the cost in balls. Every shot catches fire so a ball is only good for 2 holes before it needs to be replaced as it becomes "unplayable"

I'd also invest in some ear plugs. The sonic boom is deafening when you hit one out of the screws.

Forgot to mention... that book of secrets, it's gold... pure gold!!  It's almost worth the $99 just for it alone.  Jack Hamm is the man when it comes to driving the ball long, with style, plain and simple.

BOOOOOM!

I have placed my order and i should have it in a couple of weeks

someone stated that they have to replace their ball every couple of holes, so i guess this thing is hot....

Anyone have any suggestions on what would be a good golf ball to use with this Monster

i'd suggest just picking up a bucket of ProV1's before every round. you're going to need that extra spin given all the wedge shots you're going to have.

You guys aren't even right lol

You will definitely want to pick up some TaylorMade Penta TPs as you're most likely only going to be Driving + Putting, so you'll need that extra feel on your putts once the ball re-enters the atmosphere and straight onto the green. Happy Gilmore?

I hit this driver after drinking one of those 6 hour power energy shots that the jersey shore girls endorse and the department of homeland security was at my course in minutes wanting to know who was performing unauthorized nuclear demolition testing. I drive green on all of the par 5's with this driver. I've also been hired by the Navy to hit Nike Mojo's at Somalian pirates to cause mass casualties.
