Yesterday Taylormade announced the production of their new "SpeedBlade" iron set.  It comes with all of Taylormade's new technology and gimmicky concepts.  Is anyone else getting tired of new stuff constantly being put out from that company?  I understand that as a company the main objective is to gain income.  I just feel that they are overwhelming the market with clubs that I do not see much difference between. (RBZ 2.0 and SpeedBlade)  Maybe it is just me, I would love to hear all of your opinions regarding Taylormades recently announced new product line.

Seems to me that the "speed pocket" will soon fill up with dirt and crud if used by the average golfer. Kind of negates the benefit if it's jammed up with crud.

Blueballz Irons are definitely something I'll be gaming come Christmas 2013!

Dude, with a stiff enough shaft and a little attention to good technique, no one needs to resort to the Blueballz.

TaylorMade just marketing for gimmick profit. Go a yardsale and pick up some real clubs. They are just trying to make old technology new for 10 times the price! !

They wouldn't keep churning them out if people didn't keep buying them! Can't blame the company, boys like toys, I think their equipment is of the same quality as any of the other big brands, don't particularly like the look of these, or the rocketballs, but I think they got a good look with the rocketbladez! Also not keen on the names of any of these products though, unfortunately they go way over the top on marketing instead of letting a products results speak for itself, which puts some golfers off, you'd never catch titleist calling their new clubs.. MegaWhackers!

I've got the RocketBladez Tour and that didn't happen to me. The polymer is very nearly flush to the sole.

      Day 7: got out my chipping net and worked on chipping in the living room for a solid 15 minutes. Worked on mostly low shots, but mixed in a couple of high shots as well.

      Day 27 (4 Apr 26) - Worked with grandson on basic pitches/punches in the back yard with varied irons/wedges.  Wrapped up the day rolling some putts on the 30’ carpet I can set up in the yard to give varied terrain - and this carpet rolls almost too easy. A great way to figure a read and know that pace has to be near perfect to get in the hole.

      A bit of a struggle today.  Just some thoughts/musings.  For the backswing, it is like I am never going to be moving on from this. I don't know if I can ever get to the point where the backswing isn't like over 1.5 seconds in duration. Which is probably not ideal. I would like to get to the point where I can just fling the arms back and up.  I have to feel like my hands are going to hit my right thigh from P1 to P2. If not then they like to move 2-5 inches towards the ball from P1 to P2. Then it's just bad from there. This feeling is my hands not gaining much depth, just maintaining depth from set up. From the DTL view, the hands head towards the camera.  While I am doing that, hinge the crap out of the club with my wrist only. Hinge in a way that the club is pointing at the camera at P2.  From P2, lift the hands straight up. I can get here, and still roll the club inside and get it way too shallow.  With the downswing. There isn't much here. I still can't get the flow of this or the sequencing of this to line up. It doesn't help that hinging from P1 to P2 just throws off my entire timing as well.
