If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Set of VR blades, $300... yeah, probably not. And all the Callaway drives are $145, regardless of year. Also, it's registered in China. http://www.whois.net/whois/factory-golf.com Not saying that every Chinese shop is selling fakes, but... I'm going to guess this one is.

Run away, just run away. First off, they make no guarantee that the clubs are new. They just state that they are in good condition. Secondly, no major OEM will be selling 'factory direct' from their facilities in China. It just isn't going to happen. Think about it: is Titleist going to say "we'll sell to you (factory-golf.com) cheaper than anyone else in the world so that you can sell our products for less than any of our authorized dealers that we have worked with for many years to build a distribution network." I'm not saying everything is fake and used, but it is definately not on the up-and-up.

I will judge my rounds much more by the quality of my best shots than the acceptability of my worse ones.

I purchased a club from them for my sons birthday and it turned out to be a fake. We called Callaway and the confirmed that was a knock off because the Serial number was missing and the Callaway name at the top of the club head is not there. The sad thing is that the club is not neutral, it is a draw so he cannot use it at all. I tried to contact factory-golf.com several times to return the item and have failed miserably. So buyer be aware.... as they say? You all know we all work hard for our money and this 100.00 bucks was all I could afford for him this year.

I hope this helps.

I bought a JAWS Wedge from there. It was 35 dollar shipping. Probs fake. It has some crazy chinese symbols all up and down the shaft. I ordered a regular flex. It says 'R' for regular on the hosel, but has a stiff stamp on the shaft. The grooves seem pretty "Mack Daddy" and have helped me spin the ball great, so whateves, right. But if id known all the new cool wedges that were coming out this year, I would've maybve just weaited (588, trusty rusty, sm4....there's only so much space in the bag!)

Absolutely agree.

I own a lot of websites and maintain a bunch for other groups and the its very telling when the domain isnt used for emails.

Im very adamant about keeping my domain business separate from personal stuff and part of that is making sure to use the domains email accounts for all business matters.

At the very least its extremely unprofessional to use a hotmail account for domain business emails and at worst its some con artist who probably knows less about making those domain emails work (some can be a real pain to set up) than he does about ripping people off.

They are. I purchased 2 clubs that they said were real Taylor Mades. They are knock offs.  I emailed them 3 times to get a return authorization number they ignored the emails. They want you to send back the stuff and then they will "return your refund"

Yes, I just got ripped for $350 for a set of taylormade burner 2.0 irons. they have plastic backs, look like they were forged in a crock pot and painted with a paint brush. came in a hand made cardboard box with enough tape to keep the titanic afloat.I emailed them and they said i could return them for a refund but will not give me any return information and that was 15 emails ago...they will not answer me anymore. their phone # on their website is no good either. Take your money to the racetrack....

Not to laugh at you or your situation because counterfeit golf equipment is the biggest bummer ever, but that is a hilarious description. I can just see my wife with her 8 iron stewing in the crock pot over night.

Your last sentence doesn't show up in the post preview - I just made a loud "whew" sound.

    • I honestly believe if they play longer tees by 300-400 yards, closer to or over 7,000 yards, more rough, tougher greens, women's golf will become much more gripping.  BTW, if it weren't for Scottie killing it right now, men's golf isn't exactly compelling.
    • Day 542, April 26, 2024 A lesson no-show, no-called (he had the wrong time even though the last text was confirming the time… 😛), so I used 45 minutes or so of that time to get some good work in.
    • Yeah, that. It stands out… because it's so rare. And interest in Caitlin Clark will likely result in a very small bump to the WNBA or something… and then it will go back down to very low viewership numbers. Like it's always had. A small portion, yep. It doesn't help that she lost, either. Girls often don't even want to watch women playing sports. My daughter golfs… I watch more LPGA Tour golf than she does, and it's not even close. I watch more LPGA Tour golf than PGA Tour golf, even. She watches very little of either. It's just the way it is. Yes, it's a bit of a vicious cycle, but… how do you break it? If you invest a ton of money into broadcasting an LPGA Tour event, the same coverage you'd spend on a men's event… you'll lose a ton of money. It'd take decades to build up the interest. Even with interest in the PGA Tour declining.
